did you see our video release?

it's cheesy as fuck but at least it was well done, and like other vale fans have said, previously we released our shirts with just a picture of them draped on a desk in smurthwaites office, thats when we actually had a kit to start the season with of course.

i sent the vid onto a stoke fan mate (one of the better ones who hates them since they went into the prem) he really didn't like the golden line.

It has a story these past couple of years of kit releases in the video which is good and well put together.

As you say there was the 13/14 kit released as an image of the shirt actually draped over Smurfs office chair!

Posted it in last years thread when they were announced a month ago but I'll post again.

The third shirt, the white one, has the names on it of all last seasons Season Ticket holders who left their money in the club rather than getting a refund. Mine actually came yesterday and I found myself on it a few times.

Our new away kit is pretty simple, quite like it.

Hummel kits are just class aren't they. Always prefer to see a dash of red in our kits, blue and white alone can be rather plain. This one is based on one we wore in the Prem (see here)

And after using a one-off 125th anniversary crest last season, it's a new badge as well. I really like it, not as tacky as the mockup we saw in the fan vote:

I'm surprised these don't have universal acclaim from the fans, I think Latics have smashed it out of the park here, well impressed.

Here's the video clip which explains where the new look draws its inspiration from:

Goalie kit is in a striking yellow and blue: (Can be seen here)

Do you have to pay Sheffield Wednesday royalties for the badge?
Its always been similar to wednedays badge really.
It goes back to the 70s & 80s oldham badge really.
Think we've only had one badge that hasn't included the owl and that was the first one in our history of 126 years, prob had the owl emblem for 120 years.

I actually have to be completely honest and tell you I have not a clue about Oldham's badge so that's a school day for me that Oldham have an owl. (My favourite bird)

By the way, lovely home shirt.

Some really nice home shirts being produced around League 2 for this season. Errea and Hummel have done a cracking job so far and can definitely add that Oldham one to the list.

I think we are meant to release our away one next week.

Interesting to see what our away one will be as we have gone from traditional yellow or blue away kits in recent seasons we’ve had Pink, Purple, Green, Burgundy and Black.

Robbie is involved again isn’t he? Got a feeling it’s going to be yellow and black quarters…

I can see it being gold and black in some form or other. Failing that maybe do a version of that blue thing we had in the 91-92 season if they decide to get a little out there with the design.

Only one I think can safely rule out will be red.

Guess the issue with gold and black could be if too much black a clash with all three kits against black and white stripes.

Knowing Robbie it would be like Orange in a Holland style I think it will have black shorts which would explain the all white home kit.

I'm a big fan of both the Oldham home and Exeter's away. Some cracking kits this year - Cambridge aside.

We've revealed the kits we will be relegated in, think they fit the part.

They are alright as it goes. No wanky nonsensical marketing to go along with it, just simple and effective. Top marks Scunny.

Must admit I do like Oldhams kit. Classic simple style. Very nice. We are still awating to see our away kit . As we have a new kit supplier this season and it`s their first foray into English Football we don`t have anything to go on regards possible designs etc. Just hope it`s better than the Keepers kits which is an turqiouse type colour with an orange trim.

Quite a few nice strips this year. Agreed with others on that Oldham shirt, it's simply class and easily the best design so far. Carlisle, Tranmere and Newport's efforts are all above average and I sort of like the Scunny home strip as well but the away one's terrible. Just about the only home shirt I'm not keen on is the Walsall one. I dunno but to me it looks like the designer couldn't be arsed aka a 5 min job tops.

Will you be doing your 'famous' top 24 run down once all the reveals have been done?
