Few more pics of ours, as it has proved popular

The patterning in the background of the stripes comes from the ornate ironwork of the Lion's Den pavilion in Oldham's Alexandra Park, which dates back to 1865. #nicetouch

edit: We've just announced a sponsor for it too, 'Bartercard', who will thankfully only have a simple white font on the shirt, not a garish multicolour logo or anything.

That's pretty nice to be fair. Not too wanky on the marketing either. I know zero of Bradford's history but its obvious what it's all about without being nonsensical. Well played Bradford.

It's JCT600 . That's how their logo appears within their business.

JCT600 are one of the largest independently owned car dealerships in the UK. The Tordoff family have backed us on and off since the 60's. Founder of the company Jack Tordoff was a champion rally driver in his day.

Aye - JCT600 - one of the UK’s largest car dealerships. Owned by life-long City fan, and honorary life-president, Jack Tordoff.

They’ve supported the club financially for decades. Net worth of almost £400m.

No word on a new strip for Crawley but we will be having a new badge design. We will be celebrating 125 years of history.

To be fair we know it's longer than that because the first recorded history is a letter to the Sussex FA asking if we could change from blue to red shirts to avoid clashes with other local teams. Must of played at least a season to figure that out.

First impressions are I like our new kit, first time I’ll have seen us play at home in white as the last time we did was the 80’s. Although we’ve had plenty of away shirts in recent times with the same colours as it.

We've announced a sponsor for the back of our kits. Nothing unusual there, most clubs do it and my god we could use the money. It's a bit big though, the lettering is bigger than the player names which looks awkward. I wonder how many opposing commentators will call a player Bimson.

Not a big fan but were obviously not in the position to turn these deals down.

Yeah that's a touch on the large side. I might be wrong but is it rugby league where they try and cram in as many sponsors on the shirts as possible? I wonder whether football might be going the same way.

Yeah, RL shirts have a lot of sponsors on them. In this photo of Leeds Rhinos you can see both the front and the back and I count 12 different club sponsors on there, and a further two corporate logos (kit manufacturer and Superleague sponsor) meaning a total of 14 corporate logos plastered over the thing. Would do my head in but if lower league football needs the money then Rugby League needs it even more.

  • There are 4 logos on the front (counting Global once even though they have two logos and not counting ISC since they're the kit manufacturer).
  • 1 that appears on both sleeves
  • 1 on the left sleeve only (taking the place occupied by the Superleague logo and sponsor on the right)
  • 3 on the back of the shirt
  • 3 on the back of the shorts (the only one on the front of the shorts is the kit manufacturer's)
  • From what I can tell there are no logos on the socks

I wouldn't mind the Bimson logo so much if it was just a touch smaller and if it didn't include that filled in 'O' with a colour that appears nowhere else on the kit. The main sponsor haven't included their own colours so why do the lesser sponsor?

Logo far far too big and we’ve lost the quarters somehow, but it’s not awful. Not in this shade blue anyway.

But then in videos it’s this sky blue colour and it’s suddenly become the worst kit in our history. No one knows what it really looks like...

One thing I do like though is our diversity campaign around this, and the face that the shirt is made from recyclables and marked as an “eco shirt”. Hopefully we continue with that in future

At least the sponsor on the Bristol Rovers shirt is the same blue as the quarters, so it sort of blends in and looks OK...would be far worse if it wasn't, or something unimaginable (for Gas fans at least) red!

True that, would be embarrassing to have Cheltenham's colours on our kit :hypo:

Amazingly we have sold 1,000 first team shirts in first week, compared to 200 for same period last year. I wonder if this is normally a significant money earner in lower divisions? Taken with a range of new sponsors, and S/T sales nearly 2,000 above budgeted figure, surprisingly upbeat financially at the moment.

Not even come close to the losses made by covid.

We are having problems getting deliveries of our new kit because they come from Indonesia and factories have a 4 week shutdown due to the virus, although the expanding fan club over there seem to be happy with their kits.

Owners fucking loaded mush! ;)

Majority of clubs in this division are probably reliant on rich owners to cover the cap made by covid, so well done shag :)

In fact our owners are so rich they arrive via a big noisy helicopter on match day, how impressive is that for somebody that brags about rich owners?

We don’t seem to have our new home kit yet either, played in blue at home to Cardiff the other night. Brought back memories of the Hummel fiasco.
