I was just het up about us losing on the day, but you've wrote us off all season.

First time in a while we're a team gunning for promotion and instead of enjoying it all you do is predict us to get beat every match and tell us how shit we are and how we're going to become part time etc etc

EVERY SEASON you're like this.
We went part time for a bit during COVID times, yet you still harp on about it.

I’ve doubted that we’ll finish top 7, I admit that, but I haven’t completely written the season off like you did the other day. Monday is a game we need to win in my opinion as games get much tougher thereafter.

Just accept it, you’re more of a pessimist than me at heart. The mask dropped last week, we all saw the real pessimistic carver and now you’re trying to back track.

Fucking hell, if I was more of a pessimist than you mate I'd have topped myself long ago.

I wasn't serious about our season being over. As I said, I was just bitter on the day at us losing in such a shitty way against the jammiest team in the division.

Got Leyton Orient, Northampton and Stevenage going up automatically from that predictor on the Fishy.

Looking at the remaining fixtures for all clubs, this is my end of season prediction.

Be surprised if Northampton get 14 more points, they have tricky fixtures and a depleted squad!

Is this the same depleted squad that currently sits 2nd in the 8 game form table?

Brady has been doing a great job! Just be surprised if they manage to keep that form up considering the injuries.

I understand what you’re saying, but that’s exactly my point. They have suffered with injuries for most of this year and yet they haven’t fallen away from the autos. I can’t see that changing, despite how much Cobblers fans might wish to play this down.

Hopefully we can ruin the Cobblers form tomorrow, and I wouldn't mind Bradford taking advantage and getting the auto spot ahead of them.

Excellent side are Northampton. Best side I've seen at VP this season.

Really need to beat Sutton tomorrow to make our playoff position a lot more comfortable. 3 wins and 2 draws from the last seven should be enough. Maybe even less.

We had over 13,000 at our match yesterday.

Just shows how massive we are compared to the rest of this league bar Bradford and we would have no problem settling into the league above.

How many fans do the likes of Orient, Northampton and Mansfield get for their home games?
Tinpot attendances that's what, fuck all!

Shame there wasn’t 13,000 there to watch when mansfield put 4 past you in 40 minutes, huh?

Shame you can't follow up on wins like that, you always end up getting hammered yourself off some shit team soon after.

That result against us was a fluke on the day we were shit you were good, but out of 40 matches so far, we're better than you.

Of course, and there’s still time for that to change. the 2nd best away record in the league suggests it’s anything but a fluke.

The comment about the attendances is bollocks and you know it, they mean fuck all, it’s just a childish attempt at willy waving.

So our injury list has got even worse after Friday.
Down to 1 fit CB - Guthrie! (The only saving grace)
(CB's out for season - Sherring, Odimayo, Magloire, Dyche)
First choice LB and RB also out for season - Koiki and McGowan.

We've brought in a guy (Norman) from Canada as cover at CB although he is apparently midfielder who can play at the back and with no experience in England.... and Paul Osew on a contract after he was released by Wimbledon.

We do have a 17 year old CB Josh Tomlinson who is our youngest ever player who could come in but I believe he could be injured as well.

Lintott (came in after being released by Gills at the start of season) has been great at RB and played a lot more than expected due to injuries.

I'm not really sure what we can do at the back but for possibly going 5 with 1 natural CB and our top scorer Hopkins at RWB so:

________Lintott Guthrie Norman
Hoskins_____________________Haynes

In midfield Jack Sowerby is injured and running on empty after playing the first 45 in the last two games before going off.

On the plus point Danny Hylton is back so there's that. On the minus point I've probably forgotten more injuries. (Oh like Eppiah).

Edit: and Ben Fox who was just starting to show what a good player he is.

Actually it means that we're much bigger than you and you're too tinpot for any division higher than L2.
We'll be celebrating promotion while you'll still be down here talking about the time you beat the mighty Carlisle.

It felt on Friday that we’d reached the tipping point of how much we could patch a side up. The players who aren’t officially injured reported to be carrying knocks but having to play through etc. Brady has done an absolutely unbelievable job to have us where we are but like I say it feels like we’re now at the very limit.

Today is huge, win and we get some momentum back.

Would you be doing £10 tickets every week in League 1 then? Imagine having to do a ticket promotion in April when you're in a promotion fight...now that is tinpot.

Tbh, anyone saying “how massive” they are when in the 4th division is a cracking contradiction in itself, still i got a good laugh out of it.

Imagine being so massive but then averaging less than tinpot mansfield who’ve only got 3 stands  :ffs:

Must win today just like every game will be from now until the end of the season to keep our faint chance of top 3 alive.

Platt is suspended so either Critchlow or Kelly comes in, injuries depending but other than that I hope he sticks to the 4-2-3-1 and fucking goes at Sutton from the first minute.
