3 points for the taking for Bradford Tuesday. We are truly hopeless.

Be pleased for them if they go up. Done their time down here for sure.
Don’t say that we do better when teams find form!

How has it worked out since Morris came in?

It hasn’t. Some players look like they’ve downed tools, the ‘style’ hasn’t changed, the defensive cock ups remain and we’re toothless up front.

Apart from that, everything’s grand!

Guthrie's out for the season. Literally cant believe it. Sherring comes back to play through injury.

Sowerby goes off injured during the game as well.

Still winning though.

Build up play has been really good, our finishing though has been the complete opposite. Everyone else winning, Halliday out before the game, Chapman looks to have done his hamstring and his replacement Nevers looks like George Weah’s cousin, we need a goal.

We'll drop out of the playoffs. Hopefully Manfield win them after last season's disappointment.

Think that's me done. Cba.

I reckon Northampton and Stevenage soon to join Orient. They both deserve it to be fair they've been in the top 3 most of the season anyway.

Cobblers fans on here will still cry about their injuries but let's face it, they aren't exactly losing any games and have some space now from 4th place, they could put a bunch of geriatrics out and still be on their way up.
As for Stevenage have been so lucky to somehow get a manager of Evans calibre for a club like them.

Play offs is up for grabs for anyone from 4th to 8th.

There’s a lot of talk that our top 3 hopes are gone tonight. For me they were gone after the gillingham defeat, so I’m well over that now.

I always thought / feared we wouldn’t finish top 7 and that is now staring us flat in the face. Can’t see where we’ll pick up the points to be honest.

The one silver lining about us not making the playoffs…
If Carlisle fail to make the playoffs I'll buy hellogregory next season's shirt with Carver on the back.

BarraMatt will be in a dilemma on Saturday.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
I think the starting team at Barrow will be the interesting thing for Carlisle.

Don’t get to see them much thesedays but it has been obvious we needed a tactical change for weeks yet Simpson held off and held off till FINALLY a change 2nd half last night and while chaotic it at least led to chances, pressure spells and some hope.

But will he start with a different formation or go back to the same old……..goes back and he can give up.

Think we play the system to cover the glaring gaps defensively but offensively it needs to gamble of a change.

Would rather at least go down fighting like second half than go down with a wiimper

You need to find a room with some of the Carlisle fans on here with your ultra pessimism

Given our record in the playoffs i could also do without spending somewhere (at a rough guess) of potentially £300 to not got up

I genuinely think if we did not have such a ridiculous injury list from January onwards automatic was well within our reach, and I’ve got to give the players effort for keeping us around due to sheer effort, a lot of players are playing through injuries too not to mention the likes of Perch and Quinn at 37 playing every minute. Bowery is now injured too after playing so much.

Stevenage on Saturday will be more difficult to overcome with our current set of available players and a dodgey home form.

Sounds like our top scorer (and strongest candidate for Player of the Season) Kyle Wootton is probably going to miss the rest of the campaign. Gutted. Stretton has started coming good but not in the same league.

In terms of the title, Only Northampton and Stevenage can catch us now and both need to win all their games to catch us.

Stevenages game in hand makes them slightly more likely to catch us than the Cobblers.

We basically need 4 points from 3 games to claim it.

Ouch, Wootton will be a huge miss for you if that's the case.

Although not injured, Andy Cook looks like he is running on empty for us at the moment, which is a worry. His deputy Vadaine Oliver has been injured recently so Cookie monster not getting a break.

Northampton have about 11 injuries.

It's a shame when it comes to the nitty gritty end of a long season a lot of teams have key injuries or very tired players

We've had lots of injuries all season. We've just not gone on about it. MSH out all season, Horsfall best defender has missed a few months overall this season, Sarcevic constantly injured, Madden's had his spells out and now Wootton. And that's just off the top of my head tbh.

trust me, you'd be going on about it if it was this bad... Currently:
Maxted
McGowan (1st choice rb) - 2/3rds of season out
Lintott (2nd rb)
Magloire (1st cb) - 2/3rds season out
Guthrie (1st cb and captain)
Odimayo (cover across back) - 2/3rds of season out
Koiki (1st lb) - 1/2 season out
Sowerby (1st cdm) - shouldn't have played in the last month and tore his hamstring last night because of it.
Fox (key cm) - 1/2 season out
Harrop
Eppiah (game changer) - pretty much all season out

Dyche
Sherring
McWilliams
Pinnock
...all wouldn't normally be playing but going through pain barrier risking injury ala Sowerby.

Also over season:
Key player Bowie missed 3 months.
First choice GK Burge missed 2 months.
CB Sherring missed 2 months.
LWB Haynes missed 3 months.
CM McWilliams missed 2 months.
Hoskins missed 1 month. top scorer now playing rb.
Hylton missed 3 months. (just coming back playing the odd 10 mins)

We are all amazed how we are still grinding out wins despite our patchwork defence. Brady really is excellent when creating a siege mentality. it's also testiment to the squad assembled even if we did take a few risks with injury proned players.
One thing I am worried about next season regardless of division, is alot of these are so bad it could have a knock on effect. McGowan in particular played the end of last season injured and it contributed to him missing most of this as well.

The injury list is really bad, and yeah we are but we’ve hardly won any of em.

Top goal scorers in the league, so despite being confident it’ll be a disappointing end to the season it’s still been entertaining I suppose.

Fair play to Northampton, difference between them and us is we were toss before January. Had we sorted the defence out in the Summer even with the injuries we've had I think we'd be top 3 now but it is what it is.

4 huge games left, the next 3 all at home v Stevenage, Orient and Harrogate. 7 points and it'll make the final day an interesting one I reckon.

Can Orient wrap the title up Saturday with a win and us getting anything against Stevenage? Hope that's the case then they can come here next Tues after a few nights celebrating
