We won't play a worse team than Huddersfield this season and lost 1-0 thanks to a daft own goal haha.

Toothless.

Hemmings needs removing from this club, absolutely dinosaur who has no interest in progress. Wanker.

West Brom are going to long throw in themselves to the title I reckon. The first goal tonight was the same routine that got us on Saturday. Certainly an interesting style and they do it very well.

Sure;y this isn't right - if so better be working on that passing in training?

Mind you the 3 points count most!

That FotMob is an amazing free app. Was even better before they got caught with the pirated video highlights and goals

Honestly wouldn’t surprise if it was that far wrong. All second half we were very direct with most balls going into a channel for Jerome to chase or right up to Adebayo. We really didn’t complete many of those. As with most of those things it comes down to the model and how they categorise the data which we don’t really know.

Was a strange game really I’m not sure we will play like that too many times this season, it can be effective though in the right games. Good that we have already shown we can play, and win, in different ways

Quite an interesting article here on the Barnsley game. Bit long for the more casual observer but might be interesting to fellow hatters here.

Does show how you can win a game whilst not completing many passes, as Barnsley themselves did many times last season. Also shows how in depth tactically things can get that might not be obvious to us

Blimey…even the CIA analysts wouldn’t have been so thorough

Dont really understand why Schopp has tried to change, or why he was brought in in the first place if he wasnt going to continue with it. There was a real blue print there for someone to follow.

Its really effective as Ismael is already beginning to show at WBA.

Birmingham for us today at home, already feels like an age since a home game but only 2 weeks! 3 away games in that time though, 1 in the cup.

They were i think the worst side which we played last season in both fixtures. Should have won the home game but for an unfortunate penalty and the away game was a horrific game all around with few chances for either which we managed to squeak out. Think they will be much improved under Bowyer

Not quite sure how we will line up, continue with the 11 that worked at Barnsley or bring a few back like Cornick. Id be tempted to go back to what worked with Peterborough as i think its a game we can look to control through the midfield but maybe with Lansbury for Campbell in the 11. Although who plays 10 with no Clark is an interesting one

Ah classic game of 2 halves.

Or just classic Championship.

Guessing Barnsley fans will feel like Neil Warnock did that Charlie Austin should have been sent off in the week!

Good game. Barnsley should have held off a slightly dissapointing QPR who looked a little toothless in this game.

And the obv change as too much space in mid playing a back three. Two down both pretty much free headers from decent crosses that we haven't managed when had the chances.

What’s happened to our self discipline?
Given away far too many fouls and leaving ourselves open to our Achilles heel…

Really bad from us today. Felt the shape was wrong to start with the 3 at the back at home and invited early pressure.

Having said that both goals are balls in the box and not a function of the formation really, just us being bad at defending balls in at the moment. 3rd is a shocker of a goal, horrendous corner, bad touch from Pelly and suddenly 3-0 and games done.

Chong for them is an absolutely class apart has to be said also

Yeah Jones made a real mess of that tactically. Cheong that good every week? Unlikely

Struggling to remember a worse home performance really. Just absolutely all over the place defensively, in possession it’s just been pumped long. Worked in the week but massively has not today, appalling.
