Big win. Think that’s more or less the playoff spot booked.

Injury situation may yet come to bite us but what a group of players we have, wasn’t a great game and quality maybe lacked at times but feels like everytime theres a backs to the wall job to be done or we need to dig deep by giving that bit extra effort, play a position you aren’t quite used too or do a specific tactical job asked of them they pull through with the goods.

Tactically Jones is spot on and has a group who will run through walls and into the ground (quite literally) for us.

The togetherness throughout the Club from top to bottom to the terraces is just fantastic. An all time high for me since late 70s and the late 80s were pretty good, but the Board now are just amazing too

We really are teetering as a team at the moment - not sure how we're getting over the line, but heck, we're doing so. I think one more point is going to be enough; four more will guarantee it, but I think a win on Saturday will end up guaranteeing it anyway with other results going our way.

And we're down to one GK again and only 17 fit pros - if we don't re-sign Palmer, it would be a SIXTH first team GK this season. A club seasonal record.

Our current injury list:
James Shea, James Bree, Luke Berry, Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu, Jordan Clark, Henri Lansbury, Fred Onyedinma, Gabriel Osho, Cameron Jerome.

I suspect a number outside of that list are not really fully fit either. A number of players must be approaching the “red zone” of minutes played and are at risk of muscle injuries and the like. Players like Bell, Adebayo, Campbell have been playing a serious amount of games lately as there is no one to rotate them with due to the “actual” injuries of those listed above. It’s getting very thin

Very much agreed at this. I thought up until Friday, Campbell’s performance levels had dropped. How wrong I was there.

Eli's levels have dropped lately for this reason. He fades quicker and quicker each game. Campbell was sluggish (for him) at Cardiff. Both are incredible athletes and performers tho. What a season and to still be in there with a chance with all if the unjuries is amazing

Fulham away, I fully expect a raping but we're fucking weird and win games like this now and then.

Expected team:

Iversen
VDB, Bauer, Lindsay
Whiteman
Potts, Browne, DJ, Hughes
Archer, Evans
To be fair, unless your Luton, a team can have 20 shots on goal and we still probably won't concede with Iversen in goal. His triple save against Millwall was like it was choreographed.

Looks like it could be a long night. Unless they switch off thinking it’s in the bag.

By far the best team in the league this season. Mitrovic has been ridiculous.

I think probably the only side who have a chance to stay up next season as well and even that might be a push.

Fulham look awesome when on song, but they have got a derby away in them or a Coventry at home.
Therefore Finishing 17th next season is worthy of a open top bus parade.

Quite and the last 2 occasions in the PL have been found out due to their defence and Mitrovic hasn’t scored much .

Because Parker barely played him! The back end of that promotion season, he barely played him either, to my mystery.

Yes heard that.

Maybe had a falling out etc - I feel he can be quite an aggressive chap who probably needs an arm around the shoulder.

Congrats on having a £36m head start.
Congrats on having a £100k a week striker.
Yes that is a good point.

And spending 12 million on one player.

Even compared to the other relegation sides Fulham had an advantage.

Guess it had to be promotion or bust really.

Such a grossly unfair and unbalanced system the Parachute thing.......and yet still lots of Clubs mess it up.

Clubs should be individually responsible for their liabilities and have clauses in player contracts that protect them if relegated so wages drop to Champioship levels

But its crystal clear thats not why they are there. They are insurance policies for the big boys to get back straight off, just in case the bubble bursts and one of them get relegated

if we got promoted, then relegated...with the money we'd get we could buy bury park outright...
demolish everything in site, build a stadium and still have money left for players...

A classic case of a manager who really got the best out of a squad at Barnsley but once he went it all went wrong ?

Congrats to Huddersfield for making the play offs, guaranteeing it last night. A squad, like ourselves that weren’t expecting to be anywhere near the premier league.

Yep i remember thinking when they signed Pearson, a player who i think we all loved but felt it was time to move on from for us to progress and a few other players who seemed quite underwhelming that they might be one to struggle.

Blackpool for us today, they have had an impressive first season back at this level, never really in any trouble of relegation and got some impressive wins too, perhaps none more so than Mondays demolition of Birmingham. Highlights how strange the league is with us being thumped by Birmingham twice this season who are only out of the relegation problems by the fact of points deductions for other teams at the moment!. Before that they hadnt been in the best of form though - so could be on the beach after being well safe, or could be feeling good after such a strong win and wanting finish strongly, its that time of year where odd results happen.

Not really too sure what the injury situation is and who will play, could look a little makeshift depending on outcomes of late fitness tests for a few. As far as ive seen we've not signed a keeper so assuming Isted is going to play with a youth keeper on the bench. I dont really have too many concerns on Isted, ive seen him play for Wealdstone a few times and he looked excellent(albeit the level is slightly different!) and has been solid enough in outings vs Chelsea and Cardiff but if our luck with keepers continues then could be really young lad getting an opportunity!
