He has improved dramatically but still as you say has a mistake in him but we should seriously sign another player to cover or rotate as this would ease the pressure. Don't think Sonny is coming back anytime soon?
Maybe we shot our bolt in signings and only had one or two spots without selling? Did we decide that we were better at the back than in other areas and fill those?

Sonny has been amazing player and leader for us. I fear he us is too slow and even more prone to a mistake. Either way he isnt going to improve over the long run and we need to. We need dynamic defenders. Id rather stick with Gabe for now. Show some faith and loyalty see if he can eradicate the lapses. Sign a young and upcoming LCB when we can.

I don't recall the days, but my husband says Luton suffered under Terry Westley which goes to show recruitment for a manager must be a core requirement than any port in a storm appointment!
You should have seen us under Lenny Lawrence. Worst we ever had.

Sad to say we weren't in a position to sign Carter-Vickers as I feel he would have been a great signing but the reputed 6 million would have been out of reach for us!!!!

Kompany gushing a bit about The Kenny and our setup. Fullsome slightly backhanded praise.

Given them 2 tough games which is more than most.

Big game for us and West Brom.

Probably both need to win so be a draw I reckon.

Yeah didn’t take it as patronising at all really, seemed pretty genuine from the clip. Much better than most managers like Alex Neil inventing imaginary inclines in the pitch to justify defeats!

You wonder if he would have been quite so gracious had Adebayo stuck his first half chance away and we had eked out a win or a point. Kompany seems pretty genuine from what I’ve seen this far in his press stuff.

Think we deserved to win but did our best not to!

Particularly iffy trying to pass it around at the back.

Nice to get some goals too.

Hello.
Your forum seemed to me very attractive and promising. I want to buy advertising space for a banner in the header, for $ 1500 per month. I will pay via WebMoney, 50% immediately, and 50% in 2 weeks. And also, the address of my site https://mersi.by/ - will it not contradict the subject?
Thank you! Write about your decision to me in the PM or by e-mail shinaminsk2015@gmail.com

Translated.

Birmingham away for us today. So used to us playing Saturday/midweek it feels like a long time ago we last played but only a week!

Was a good performance last week and we deserved something against the best team in the league, with no midweek game you’d hope we can go into this with some high energy as things were starting to look a little bit tired. Hoping Drameh is good to go, with Lockyer suspended I think that’s the least disruptive way to cover it with Bell going to left centre half and Doughty starting again at LWB.

Wigan have conceded 1 in 4?

It'd genuinely be a shock if we score, never mind win today.

Tight game then but no points .

Shows why they are going up and we won’t.

Great win but still a little wastedul. Some great displays but thought Nakamba had his best game so far, Bell was great at the back and Woodrow looked very effective for a change.

Lets hope those injuries are just knocks. How does that Roberts leg breaker only get a yellow?

Good win that backed up a decent performance last week with a result and we go into a big game Tuesday night with some positivity

Injuries a worry especially Morris but Burke too especially as you’d expect Millwall to be a physical battle

Seen the replay of the tackle on morris and it’s a shocker. The yellow Roberts got for it indicates the ref saw a two footed knee high challenge and only deemed it a yellow? He’ll be lucky to not have serious damage, have to hope it’s not a long lay off

If we'd swarmed the player and looked to kick it off and argie bargied hed have got a red. Then we get charged by FA. Cant win. Poor decision that no doubt he will realise when he sees it back.

Supposedly Coventry have never won at Deepdale, that will surely change tonight.

Really massive game for us tonight and the playoff picture more generally as we have Millwall at home.

Assumption is we will be without Morris and Burke after both went off injured at the weekend. Both will be big blows but at least we have Lockyer back from suspension. Test for Osho I think tonight, he’s been good but is prone to getting entangled in some clumsy moments which mark the good things he’s does and it’s going to be that sort of game I’d have thought tonight.

I won’t be expecting a pretty watch as they are very like us (or have been in recent seasons). Really big game though so looking forward to it.

Morris fit to start. Very lucky to get away with that but you wonder how fit he actually is, we might be taking risk as it’s a big game and he’s massive for us.

Shocker from Horvarth but hes had one coming. Thought for a while id prefer Shea.

That aside we been ok. We are missing something up top. We create the space and work it well into the final third on the floor.......then nothing all too often. But i cant put my finger on what or why.

Osho looking smooth and controlled again. Like how hes coming along and ateps out with purpose. Also very quick on the recovery.

So thats a clanger or a pen given away second half :-)

Strange sort of game as all 4 goals sort of came from nowhere really. First is obviously a real stinker from Horvath thought that would dictate the nature of the game and it sort of did until mid second half. Was frustrating as I didn’t think it was a foul on Doughty - in fact it looked the other way to me as McNamara sort of pushed him off the pitch and into the main stand! From that Millwall get a chance to smash it forward we lose the header and then Horvath let’s it slip through and it’s 1-0 with nothing having really happened.

We played some good stuff but final ball missing, look to be controlling the second half and suddenly from one attack Millwall make it 2. Look quite a bit offside in the ground to me.

Did really well to pull it back, as usual you can bee question our resilience but thought we might huff and puff and not create but we took the 2 chances that game. Luke Berry is just a great little player to have around, not the prettiest but pops up with the odd goal so often. Think we deserved a point as really not much in the game at all, certainly didn’t feel a 4 goal game but that’s how it turned out.

Ohhh. Forgot one.......or goes off injured

Clear offside and lino should never miss it, as its played along the same line of his vision. Very poor. Thought ref was as poor as weve had too. Three first half shouts for pens and any one could have been, although varying degrees of likely, but by the end theyre normally ok im giving you that one.

Good heart but poor decisions and final balls. Often trying to walk it in or shoot when its a bad idea. Close but not quite clicking yet but scored two so cant be all bad

Horvath is a spectacularly meh keeper. Really expected more from an international and by our standards decent money loan signing. He’s protected pretty well by the defence and we are pretty stingy when it comes giving up chances especially in recent games, but whenever called upon in a serious sense he seems wanting to me. Tonight’s mistake can happen to any keeper so I take that but usually you’ve got something more from them through the season so you understand it.

We’ve gone to quite a bit of effort to improve that keeper position since we got promoted here including breaking our transfer record and seems to me we’ve never been able to improve upon Shea.

If there is a doubt then play Woodrow behind Adebayo!!! Why risk a bigger injury.

Definite back handers involved with us signing Onomah (Ridsdale). The fat bastard looks fit for retirement. Knackered after a 3 minute cameo.

Shout out to Bambo Diaby who had Gyokeres in his back pocket. Criminally overlooked by Lowe in favour of shite like Storey.

Also, can't believe we're letting Daniel Johnson walk out of this club for free.
