Yet you were the were the best team at mansfield this season by a mile, but yet we walloped you at your place, odd.

You’ve been decent at home for sure but 3-0 is a massive ask.

We usually bottle the big games this season. That’s part of the reason for that shite performance. You lot at home. Stockport away. AFC away. Can name many others.

Then you factor in our poor away record and the fact we conceded 68 goals (now 71) this season and 7 teams (now 8) have scored at least 3 against us and it all makes sense.

Our Sky TV record this season is played 2, lost 2, conceded 8, scored 0…so don’t hold out much hope for Saturday…

Crawley were excellent, well deserved.

But I agree the tie doesn't feel over, somehow. MK Dons need to get that goalkeeper to actually use his hands. Definite decent footballer but stick the big lad in goal feel to him, seen him a few times now.

Williamson been given a few poundings this season despite the rave reviews, looked a bit lost on the touchline.

We’ve been 3-0 up within half an hour on multiple occasions this season, but it’s the play offs so it won’t happen again.

Just got home

Offered me 3-0 before I'd of ripped your arm off. After the first ten minutes I would said there's no way I could afford it.

Not quite sure if we sat offing tye second half or Dons pushed us back but I was a real happy bunny when the third went in.

Wrong angle for offsides but was the goal disallowed for the player who scored (and should have left it) or somebody in the build up?

We can lose goals like there's no tomorrow so this ain't over but we've every chance.

Got absolute dog's abuse from the away end when we played them at the back end of last season for looking a bit dodgy. Like unnecessary amounts of abuse. Turns round at full time and for a split second I'm thinking that he might go mental at us and give it back but he just flashes a massive grin and claps the Town fans. Class move that, I've liked him ever since.

Edit: Not sure if you're talking about the MK or the Crawley keeper actually. I'm on about Crawley's.

MK Dons keeper Kelly was our second choice last season so it's no wonder he's shit.

I don't rate MK Dons much at all after watching them tonight.

How are they so high up in the league? Must be a really poor league this season.

Taking this a step further, these are all the results this season in terms of all of the team's against one another home and away.

As we all know, results are the same every time so scientifically this proves who will win the play-offs.

Crawley Town vs MK Dons
Crawley Town 2-1 MK Dons
MK Dons 2-0 Crawley Town

Crewe Alexandra vs Doncaster Rovers
Crewe Alexandra 3-2 Doncaster Rovers
Doncaster 2-0 Crewe Alexandra

Doncaster Rovers vs MK Dons
Doncaster Rovers 3-0 MK Dons
MK Dons 2-1 Doncaster Rovers

Crewe Alexandra vs MK Dons
Crewe Alexandra 3-1 MK Dons
MK Dons 3-1 Crewe Alexandra

Crawley Town vs Crewe Alexandra
Crawley Town 2-4 Crewe Alexandra
Crewe Alexandra 1-0 Crawley Town

Crawley Town vs Doncaster Rovers
Crawley Town 0-2 Doncaster Rovers
Doncaster Rovers 2-0 Crawley Town

So it is quite simple, in the play-off semi-finals, MK Dons should beat Crawley Town 3-2 over two legs and Doncaster Rovers should beat Crewe Alexandra 4-3. Assuming the logic holds, Doncaster Rovers will beat MK Dons 4-2 at Wembley in the final.

Now, there is a 1.2% margin of error in these calculations. In the unlikely scenario, the calculations are off, the following will happen in the alternative finals.

If Crawley Town play Doncaster Rovers, Doncaster Rovers will win 4-0 at Wembley.
If Crewe Alexandra play MK Dons, it will be a 3-3 draw at Wembley (extra time/penalties are not forecast, but I prefer MK Dons so they will win).

In summary, I would lump on Doncaster to do it as the evidence cannot be ignored.

Don’t get too excited Crawley fans, you’re getting pasted 4-0 in the final by Doncaster. The scumputer says so.

Makes up for my disappointment yesterday that having travelled from York game was postponed just before I reached Gatwick on t'train.
Also, very amusing seeing pitch being watered before game and at H/T.

We are a decent team, honest, but it’s the play-offs man, it was part of the agreement to move Wimbledon to MK that we would never be allowed beyond a semi-final, as it would involve us going back to London. Hence the six out of six play-off losers tag we are going for.

Haven’t seen you play but statistically your defence seems shite (18th for keeping clean sheets over the season does not sound good).

So I don’t know:

a) if you’re capable of playing this way successfully and
b) how much commonality there is in terms of Franchise players w/ 2 seasons back - obviously a different manager

But we won the first (home) playoff leg v MK 2 seasons ago 2-0 - then just went pure grindball for the second leg, playing just to spoil - we lost 1-0, but meh, it’s the aggregate that counts.

Parking the bus is easier against ball-to-feet sides than hoofball/set-piece sides (depending on the quality of the target man for the latter), but still demands a hell of a lot of stamina from your holding midfielders and back line.

I don't think Crawley can afford to try and park the bus, it's not their game at all. Need to go there and play their game. They can cause MK problems and ultimately if they work as hard as they did tonight and press as well as they did tonight, they will get chances.

Scott Lindsey has us playing one way and one way only. A favourite saying is "Plan b is to execute plan a better"

We've had some great results away (beating Mansfield 1-4 and some horror shows (losing to Wrexham by giving them 3 possibly 4 goals...and I do mean giving).

We are capable of scoring against anyone but we are capable of letting in a goal against the Dog and Duck second 11.

Dons have to score 4 clear goals to win.

Or we score 3 and beat you on penalties.

I love that but not necessarily so. I always want MK to fail but I don't want to play them for a season or so. One of our supporters was in the home end and was cheering them on.

My head says good riddance to franchise, my heart says good luck to Donny and Crawley.

Shame that deal for Ronan Darcy fell through in January. I don't think we'll have much chance of getting him now...

Only seen Crawley twice this season so my view is somewhat limited but, that display last night was a million miles from my previous 2 sightings. Thought the energy and press were superb, passed it well and quickly.

MKD, on my 2 viewings, were similar. Passed it slowly and predictably but despite being very possession based, it seems that is more important to them than actually winning. Wierd team imo

Kelly was our 3rd choice this season. Then Craig McGillivray kicked up a fuss to leave, Nathan Harness got injured and the replacement from Villa was even worse, so he's actually the best of the bunch.

We're high up in the league because our attack is electric... when they can get on the ball. Bate and Payne were kept far too quiet last night and Wearne had a shocker, while Dean's head seemed to go after they scored a minute after his goal line clearance.

We've scored 3 goals before half time at home in a fair number of games this season. We need to go and do that again, but we freeze at the big occassions.

I agree....we are better away from home lately so hopefully we will get over the line and to Wembley.
Never thought I'd be saying that about Crawley.

Crawley came and beat us 4-1 at field mill on the break, few sides do that.

They’ll be scoring a goal if MK go for it.

MK Dons will get automatically promoted next year and spend a few years in the top half of League One with the occasional playoff campaign, and then have a stinker of a season and end up back here. It's all they ever do.

Impressed by Crawley, high intensity and should of won by more on the night. MK look like MK always seem to do, pretty on the eye, knock it around well but susceptible to being pressed into an error.

Orsi looked a handful.

THIS. Our worst ever season is this one (finishing 4th in League Two) and the best we have mustered is 23rd in the Championship. League One is our ultimate home. WABLO.

Boo hoo.

Your average attendance this season suggests that you're more of a L2 or lower L1 sized club at best.

So you’re saying our attendance, in L2, in our worst ever season, suggests we are a L1 club. What about in our best ever season or average season? L1.

Like I said, WABLO!
