We'll be away to either Stockport, Morecambe, Bolton, Blackpool, Doncaster, Rotherham or Chesterfield.

That's fucking grim. I'd take Morecambe or Chesterfield out of that lot.

We could get Bradford if they beat Rotherham in the last group stage game and I'd take them as well.
It'll be Bolton, it always is!

I've been reading the match thread of the vale Vs Wrexham game on the Wrexham forum. Half the comments are about the commentator been crap and that there are no port vale fans there. It wasn't the normal vale commentator it was the guy who usually does the stoke games and I take it Wrexham don't realise it's a boycott competition for fans. Also vale fans were in the stand where the camera comes from so you won't see them. Another thing on there forum Wrexham had 3 penalties saved by Amos and there comments were 3 poor penalties there keeper makes one penalty save and it's what a save by Howard that is. Absolute bias crap from them.

Didn't they have a massive crowd when we went there last season so think they take it more seriously than most clubs, guess they didn't really experience the media hype around the boycott etc being non league at the time.

I am a season ticket holder and haven't been to a game in this competition since probably Bradford in 2012?

Yeah they had over 8000 crowd there when only 5 or 6 years ago they were getting 4000 home crowds. Most teams in this competition get 1500 or lower crowd some including us even get 800 or so crowds in it.

We've had our lowest in a game in this competition which was in the three figures in the early days of it IIRC. Shame it was a good competition in times gone by and gave us two great triumphs winning it, including wins over Stoke both times en route.

We got through with two wins and a loss to Brighton's yoof.

Only one academy left which is one too many.

Until the academies get dumped I won't attend a single match in this competition and that includes the final should we get there.

I forgot we were playing last night, my boycott obviously works!
Same here, I actually only truly realised because one of the Orient players (obviously ex AFC) decided to use a game that not even the players actually care about to try and get some social media points from a certain fanbase

I’ve kept well clear of the discussion on BB on Fleck but is a car crash from us. Very good wage as a basic, and barely any bonuses for him actually playing. Should have been the other way around as he’s clearly well off it

Yeah it’s been a disaster really so far. Watching him attempt to get back and get injured yet again during the lead up for Grimsby's first goal was as painful for me as it was for him.

We really can’t afford to have a dud on the books.

The weirdos brought nearly 2500 to us last year in this.

Why not win both? Never understood the obsession with fans wanting us to lose and go out. I want us to go all the way and win it. With our big squad and balancing minutes amongst everyone, I'd like to think we can get into the latter stages with a bit of fortune.
