We’ve rotated the team on this short week. Right thing to do but shows the lack of depth in the squad imo. No holding midfield player so Walsh and Baptiste start which looks ill balanced.

Everyone is going to be triggered by Woodrow starting too. Personally much rather see Taylor get a go, he’s much more pace to play on the break.

Really don’t think we can expect much here and I don’t think people should be calling for Edwards to go if we lose this. The schedule and lack of depth has put us in a real tough spot here

Turned it off at the 4th goal now. I expected us to lose to be honest but a hammering is tough to take

I honestly think the squad is very very poor and the recruitment has been dreadful for a while now so it’s not totally Edwards fault, his stubbornness with the shape, and especially the midfield he’s bringing a lot onto himself that makes it tough to defend. Playing a 2 with Chong is not going to work on a consistent basis

Fall on your sword now mucker
What a shit show
Personally think he deserves to Christmas and then if it’s still like this, he has to go.

But, can’t say I violently disagree with anyone who wants him out now. Club needs to take a hard look at itself though, since promotion it’s all gone a bit wrong imo

From the outside looking in you've had such a rapid up trajectory over the last few years it has caught some at the club off guard, you've previously put all your efforts into Power Court with the on field matters not needing as much scrutiny as things just seemed to have aligned for you. Now the powers that be need to come up with a way to get things on track so Power Courts opening is not a damp squib.

We're maybe the worst away side in Championship history. Truly honking first half, like they'd picked 11 fans from the away end.

Preston were absolute dogshit and will be down there come the end of the season.

Pretty much the perfect day for us but need to build on our recent performances now. International break has come at a bad time for us, I feel.

Good to see Cody Bishop back - that must be a massive boost in terms of having a goal threat up front and obviously for him personally.

Ha, clearly a toe-end and hope.

He's been decent this season but I'd still release him. He'll get a new deal though as backup that doesn't kick up a fuss.

Not much quality on show in the Sheffield derby. No real chances but a decent atmosphere - Wednesday will be the happier for sure.

Arblaster looks like he has done his knee, cant believe he played on having gone down with no one around him. A real shame for him as looks a quality young player.

We did ok barring the first 15 minutes of the second half but lack the quality to create clear cut chances.

Derbies aren’t what they used to be are they? All the hype around it is great but you’re not allowed to tackle in todays game. Nearly 40 fouls given today, most of them soft. How is the game ever meant to flow like that?

I fancy Sheffield Utd to stroll the league now. Defensively solid, consistent, and nick goals when they need to.

Frustrating game for us, but really pleasing to see us comprehensively dominate another Championship team. Most of the games we've played in this season has been competitive, but nothing more. This felt a lot more like us swamping another team but just wouldn't fall right. Lots of blocks and Plymouth left it all out there in terms of defending but disappointed not to make it count. Back to back wins going into the international break would've been nice - not to mention the additional two point cushion keeping us away from the bottom three.

Plymouth will fancy themselves tomorrow at home with a team probably having to change a few after Internationals and with some injuries.

At home to Hull on Saturday.

We simply have to win, if we don’t it gets extremely ugly in the crowd I think and whilst im not sure Edwards deserves that, I’m also equally unsure of you can really criticise it if it does.

Really feels like the club is at a crossroads on the basis of this game, win and I think people give the club some more rope and probably Edwards gets u til at least January, lose and I think Edwards position begins to become totally untenable and opens questions as to why the club didn’t make a move before the international break. In fact if we lose and sack him, it makes the club look very weak indeed and probably opens other cans of worms that probably we don’t want any to open.

As for the game and who plays, rumours abound that Doughty has ligament damage which is a hammer blow in particular.

You couldn't pick a better team to play then. Millar and Belloumi out for the season, poor form, manager in the last chance saloon, etc.

Annoying to let it slip when we had the ball and in control.

Suppose we have nicked points ourselves but still frustrating.

And had to be Gray!

Probably score the winner at the Vic.

2 great goals from Gray, feels like it’s only really Watford where he hasn’t been quite a reliable source of goals in his career. Everywhere else including his recent stint at QPR and abroad he’s done reasonably well goals wise.

Bayo should have won the game for Watford with his 1v1 chance though.
