Strange penalty incident in your game. .

Not so much the award of it but the fact there was a drop ball before hand which may have been the right call but the ref took ages to give it - seemed to wait for an attack to peter out first.

1-1 and the weather makes it difficult to assess but Swansea were much the better side and played some good stuff despite the conditions and should have won it.

We are just a really poor team, can barely keep the ball, very limited options for the player in possession and it’s just channel balls, and set pieces being the ideas in attack. We really look like a League 2 side trying to tough out a replay in a cup game every week, it’s really ridiculous how different we look and how far some of these players have fallen off.

If something doesn’t change we will go down imo.

3-0 win. Pompey getting a little bit of momentum, not a coincidence it’s been as Colby Bishop has come back into the team. I’ll still be happy simply finishing 21st!

Teden Mengi apparently picked up a long term injury in training and will be out for a few months at least. Have to wonder what we do in training with all the injuries we pick up outside of games.

Mengi could have been one of the best defenders at this level if he had applied his premier league form to this but he has clearly been mentally checked out all season and doesn’t want to be here. Was hoping we might have been able to sell him in on in January maybe to fund some other needed moves but won’t be happening now. He’s massively tanked his value with how he’s played too

Still strong links with Joe Taylor over here, is he not rated? the fact he gets little game time in a struggling team worries a few but you are strong upfront? On paper at least.

We have Adebayo and Morris so probably 2 of our better players, although questionable this season so we are strong there but no one is playing well right now.

Taylor has become a bit of a flash point between the fans and Edwards. Supporters want to see him given a chance given we aren’t exactly great, but Edwards seem to prefer the dreadful Woodrow as the “first change” striker which sparks real anger whenever it happens.

There’s loads of rumours going around that he’s had a fall out with Edwards, or perhaps Alfie Doughty but not clear at all that’s true or rumour.

I think more likely is that Edwards just doesn’t see him fit in as we usually play with strikers who have physical presence or with Woodrow is seen as a player happy to get involved in general play, and from what we’ve seen Taylor is more a poacher/make run ins behind type that doesn’t really add much to the general play

They didn’t really play well tonight, and neither did we as you can see by the result. Two similar teams I thought.

Home form is a concern at the moment, I think that’s only 3 wins in 11. Too slow, too lacklustre

We won and actually played pretty well I thought, certainly better than the weekend draw with Swansea and even the win v Hull both of which had some fortune.

Played Brown, Adebayo and Morris all together and gave us a much greater momentum up front and they caused a fair amount of problems for Stoke. Moses had his best game for us too and largely kept the dangerous looking Koumas in check. We did look shaky defensively again, Hashioka is a bit of a weak link you have to say and it’s remarkable how just a couple of injuries and we are suddenly having 2 keepers to fill the bench spots but, it was better overall.

Tough looking trip to Blackburn on the weekend who look on good form, but nice to go into off the back of a win and much better performance.

They seem able to grab a goal and keep it tight but no one is that great tbh this season .

Or certainly consistent enough apart from the top 2.

I guess another team maybe trying to play out from back but as you suggest lacing the pace to do it .

Won't last, the XG is poor and it usually tells come the end of the season. Similar to us at the start of last season.

Cardiff away, it's getting to the must-win stage to get off the mark away from home. We can't keep drawing every fucking game.

The midfield picks itself now. I'd let Whatmough continue his run in the team, but wouldn't be shocked to see Lindsay back in. A fully-fit Brady would be a boost to allow KKH to return to RWB, but imagine it's too soon for him.

Woodman
Storey - Whatmough - Hughes
Potts - McCann - Thordarson - KKH
Greenwood - Frokjaer

Same as us really .

Give away a lot of chances tbh to be anywhere near proper play off contenders .

Well it should've been 1-0 or more to Hull.

We got lucky again with a late equalizer.

Very routine win. Not good to watch but did what was needed. Was like watching us under Alex Neil. Organised and took our chances.

Leeds at home tomorrow, they've actually only won 1 in 6 away, so not the guaranteed defeat I thought it was.

Greenwood is ineligible and I can see Bowler dropping to the bench. Hopefully Brady comes back in at LWB. Osmajic will be pushing for a start too.

Glad we’ve managed a good result, if anything our play recently (bar Leeds) has been at its best so far this season but results not aligning which has been frustrating. A performance, result like this can hopefully kick us on. No relegation drama is all I wish.

5 changes for us, Cardiff must have hit the energy levels, Leeds also had an extra day's rest.

Anything from this we'll be a bonus really.

Gutting way to drop 2pts. 93rd minute?

But can't complain, they battered us second half and could have had 4. We defended well though and we were good first half. Class by Osmajic, great turn and run, and a quality cross.

Difference in quality on the bench changed the game.

2-0 down at half time. Very very predicatable, we are just completely non-competitive away from home. Barely capable of controlling a game or being able to put a coherent attack together and just look like a lower league side going away in a cup game mostly. Just rubbish

1-1 at Oxford, another poor goal to give away, not sure why Rohl keeps insisting on only playing once centre half with two full backs either side

I make that 9 of our last 12 we’ve gone a goal down in

Fuck off walsh… you useless northern kunt!!!
Totally agree Oaky.

2 reds this season coming off the bench. Ill disciplined selfish and not very good. He is the epitome of everything that has been wrong with the recruitment.

I know you aren’t necessarily a fan but the fact he gets on ahead of a genuine club legend in Pelly is a disgrace. Glad Morris told him to fuck off should never wear the shirt again

Comfortable in the end, Oxford never looked a threat in all honesty

Stoke next, they’re bang out of form but so are we at Hillsborough, can’t see it being a classic

I know we’re only 10 days before Christmas, but if he still has a contract after today it should be ripped up immediately.

Am not a reactionary usually but…yes and the fact Edwards hasn’t come out and give him a public bollocking had annoyed me too.

We were never getting back into the game anyway so I guess I shouldn’t be annoyed but it’s just the fact that Walsh shouldn’t even be here if we had our act together in the summer that gets to me. He’s just become symbolic for all the club hasn’t done right in the last couple of windows

Excellent win against a strong side who came at us well but we held on .

Much more positive in attack with Vata coming in.

Nice to see Bayo get a couple .

Tom Fellows looks like a very good
player for West Brom .
