Simply must win, no excuses, unless anything changes today which I doubt no attacking reinforcements is really disappointing.

Gotta go 532 and for me I'd sling Featherstone for Dolan, rest picks itself

1st v 2nd with us and Stevenage, whole ground sold out as well, so should make for a very good occasion.

Last 4 weeks we've had to play teams in positions: 2nd (Twice), 3rd, 5th, 7th and 18th. We have 1 win in that time and 1 loss and 4 clean sheets. I thought when we played Newport, we should've won as we had two golden chances to score and didn't. So its been a tough month and we've had all our injuries and suspensions finally hit us so no suprise our form has dipped a bit. A good time for Stevenage to play us.

Our goalscoring has eluded us recently, but IMO that was probably always going to come at some point as our strikers aren't the most clinical. Wellens wants to bring in two attacking players before the window closes. One of our strikers Aaron Drinan is out injured again, so another striker is now a must. Looks like Hary Smith will be used for us in the second half of the season, he came on last week and played 90mins in a friendly match in the week.

Tom James and Omar Beckles being banned for this is a huge blow for us. After this game we have a month of fixtures against sides who are midtable/near the bottom of the table and we'll have most of our players back and hopefully some new attacking ones to, so regardless of tomorrows result we have to look to push on again after a tough month catching up to us.

Think we'll lose, or it will be 0-0 again. We struggle to break down teams who play 3 or 5 at the back.

There appears to be a lot of closely matched encounters this weekend - comparative to table positions.

Anyway, big game at Valley Parade. We welcome Carlisle.

Decent home record against them, so hopefully this will continue.

GK: Harry Lewis

RB: Brad Halliday
CB: Matty Platt
CB: Romoney Critchlow
LB: Tolaji Bola

CM: Ritchie Smallwood
CM: Adam Clayton/Alex Gilliead

RW: Abo Eisa
CAM: Harry Chapman
LW: Dara Costelloe

ST: Vadaine Oliver/Andy Cook

No idea what to expect as there could be another shift in formation and personnel.

1-0 Scrappy win to take us back up to 4th, please.

We haven't the best record against Salford, one win in 8 or 9 games since we've met them including in the NL. Fancy another draw here, 1-1.

Every game is a must win for us (and Brad folk, and everyone in the playoff race) at the moment because things are about to open up I'm sure and some teams are going to find their promising start fizzling away into mid table nothingness in the space of a few games.

EDIT: sometimes an autocorrect is so good you haven't the heart to fix it.

It is a must win but I'm not confident at all. I doubt he'll drop Featherstone but I think he'll go back to 532 (he better had like). Reckon he'll put Dolan in the middle with Hartley and Rollin alongside. I also heard Cooke might be out for a while but not seen owt in the media about it. Even slimmer pickings if he is out.

I can't really give a team I want to play, I'd rather we didn't have to pick most of them. Hoping for a good outcome, I think it's really bleak for us if it isn't.

I don’t think he’ll drop him either, he’s at the Gary Liddle point now for me, had his good spells for us but at 34 needs rotating out, Dolans his tailor made replacement.

I get why Curle doesn’t talk about injuries but it’s getting agitating now not knowing what’s going on with players, are the opposition really gaining an advantage knowing if Callum frigging Cooke is gonna play against them or not, haway man he’s not De Bruyne, running the footballing side like it’s the secret service.

It's a bonkers argument not giving injury news, except for what possibly Umerah, Ferguson (at wing back) and Sterry, we have no one else to worry L2 opposition. Featherstone needs releasing in the summer. Most of them do but he'd get a pat on the back and thanks for the service at least, I don't think he's up to it now especially with the way Curle sets up to play where he's more of a screen than someone who sits and recycles which he is/was good at.

Crawley Crypto Crisis FC at home for Sutton tomorrow. A good chance to pick up 3 points after last week’s defeat at Salford.

A home return for David Ajiboye and a potential first game for Lee Angol should be a boost. Hopefully Jack Rose will have recovered to return in goal

Robbed by our own carelessness away at Harrogate on Boxing Day, if that match was anything to go by then we're a better side than them but they've got a few players who can do real damage. Armstrong is probably the best striker I've seen this season at this level in terms of single performances so he needs to be kept in check. I really hope Hurst has got us up for it and we go for it.

Kiernan has to come back in. We were lacking something without him in the lineup last week. Hopefully Waterfall is back too to shore up the mess at the back.

We’ve got a pitch inspection this afternoon so I’m expecting it to be called off

The good news is Jordan Cook isn’t far away from a first team place.
I kid you not.

Our game is off, temps in the stadium have been around -7 at night all week and despite the rise in temperature today parts of the ground are still a bit hard and with temperature to fall and still be below zero at lunchtime tomorrow it’s off, pub it is then. We now haven’t had a home Saturday game since the 29th of October

We struggle at Valley Parade, other than nicking 3 points a couple of seasons ago. It's strange, as there's an almost perfect mirror image at Brunton Park, with Bradford struggling for results up here.

Concerns maybe about ours at Bratfut then.

Yeah that was with McCall and truly a shambles of a performance from them under a tactically inept manager.

Yep!

Haven’t beaten you at BP since 85/86 - hence why I’ve never bothered.

A few of us popping up on the train to Sutton tomorrow. It could be a car crash on and off the pitch.:ohn:

Last time we all got together at an away day we ended up in a tiitie bar in Shoreditch. Almost had me eye poked out!

I have no idea of a line up tomorrow. Its probable that Addai may be in goal as he is the only keeper we have...but we might sell him tonight.

Not sure, the stadium is basically a concrete bowl, there’s no opening for wind to flow through and the orientation of the stadium is also a problem add to that there isn’t anything between Donny and the North Sea except a stray Grimsby fan for cover

Northampton away, feels like we lose here all the time bar the 2 play off games.. Apparently they've a few injuries too so hopefully our new lads can click and get something. I'd take a point though then back to the Bear for a skin full

You'd think with all the hot air that comes off of Cleethorpes and Scunthorpe, Donny would be basking in sub-tropical conditions.

Just waiting for Global warming to impact, if the seas rise like they say, Donny will be coastal and as the world changes it will be the new Costa
