I take it refs will be paid regardless of whether the game goes ahead or not? It only takes a couple of postponements to start the domino effect.

Everyone knew the forecast for this afternoon, and the pitch was only partially frozen infront of the South stand FOUR hours before kick off.

It makes you wonder.

But then you're getting games called off around the country quite late in the day and everyone is criticising refs and clubs for that when they were probably giving them every chance as you suggest.

Hard to win sometimes.

It’s whether it they’ve forecast it to drop below freezing again say 4, or whether they take into account the “safety of spectators” now we’ve all of a sudden seemingly gone soft!

Looks like we've regressed 3 years to the non league days, stevenage nothing special but direct and effective.
Easily the worst half of our season, no way we get anything out of this now.
No complaints with the goals or the red card just a really poor showing from us.
Still, we've got a lot of injuries and suspensions and the starting XI was very questionable, but thus far a dire afternoon in stevenage (Though we're in stevenage so when is it not dire...)

Important win and well deserved in the end, good performances all over the park. 2nd half we were on top before their lad boots Hamilton in the chops and gets his red. Dale fell apart a bit after that, lost their rag. Comfortable for us in the end, couldve scored more. Solid starts from Dodds, Hartley, Pruti, Dolan. Gotta fear for Rochdale, beaten by us twice and look really poor.
