OK, maybe poorly worded on my part, but it's been a long week at work, no accusing going on here! However you've hit the nail on the head, it's social media. Not a true reflection of the fan base at all. I'm sure there will be equally be some tits from Mansfield on our socials tomorrow too. Absolutely the reason I avoid it all.

Bet you're pleased the winds dropped, with your name, I can imagine your life was in the balance today.

Looking forward to a good game of football, based on how we've both started, assuming it'll be high scoring. You watch it be 0-0...

Norwood starts for County today, in place of Lewis Bate who has (join in, you all know the words) picked up an injury

Ahhh, wish we had a rivalry.

The old cliche that, on paper, Wigan look too good for us but luckily football is played on grass. We have a large squad but some are not near league 1 standard and we have a few injuries.

Adeyemo has scored 2 goals this season but I expect to see him on the bench. Charlie Barker (son of ex manager, Richie) has done well in the midfield pivot role and as a efl player that may turn out as his best position but I expect Williams to get the nod. Cameron Bragg may be pushing for a place. Loanee from Southampton. Got something about him. The one that does my head is Scott Malone. How many years as a left sided defender. He is playing as a right winger for us.

Our xg against will be high but I'm hopeful today.

Well that was pretty shit.
Piss poor defending for both goals, especially the 2nd. Omochere and Hutchinson seem like massive wastes of money.
MT continuing to play players who arent performing, and keeping the odd one or two who are, on the bench.
No threat going forward like every game so far, and when we do get chances we cant even hit the target.
On the showing so far its gonna be a tough old season.

Yeah thought the scoreline was a fair reflection of the game.

Not sure what your tactics were in the second half?

You sat back like a team a goal ahead rather than behind and let us completely control the game.

Yeah that 'tactic' hasn't escaped our forum. First 2 games we have been lucky, today we weren't. as i predicted

Pretty even first 30 but a mistake from our def/GK in the box gives Lincoln the lead.

Losing 2-0 at half time.

Think you can argue that’s a deserved lead for Lincoln, Mansfield played the better football and look more comfortable with the ball but Lincoln have created more while keeping us quiet in the final third.

Very soft goal though from a mistake will be raging, last kick of the first half it’s 2-0 but I missed it writing this

Edit - just seen the replay another howler from Pym, he was brilliant last season but he’s probably lost us this game by half time.

Awful game to watch, a good old war of attrition. Rotherham very physical and playing for the set pieces.

They've been the better team in terms of chances created and arguably unlucky not to be ahead, but it hasn't been one-way traffic by any means and 0-0 is broadly a fair reflection.

3-0 straight after half time and this could be our first thrashing of the season, Crawleyesque.

Also we’ve started the second half with three strikers in defence, Will Evans, Lucas Akins and Will Evans

Creating plenty up at Barnsley but go in 1 down. 30 seconds into the second half and it’s 2. Mountain to climb.

4-0 now, and Aden Flint is off injured leaving us with one ‘defender’ on the pitch who played in a #10 role for Burton Albion previously, so this is a pretty miserable afternoon

And for the moment we’ve climbed it. Oakwell sounds very very nervous and we’ve turned on the gas all of a sudden…

Awful boring Evatt's idea of football is to bore everyone to sleep, no end product, no product at all

Definitely our best performance of the season so far, against an underwhelming Bolton side. May not be the prettiest on the eye but pressed really well and solid at the back. To be able to bring on Aneke and Godden against a tiring defence shows how much our squad depth has improved this season. We kept 5 clean sheets last season that’s 3/3 now this.

Thought we deserved something from that. Keeper should have done better with the second. Posh time wasted like a Westley side

Solid result and most importantly the first minutes for Paul Mullin this year.

well that was a turnaround.

the two new loan signings, Humphreys (Ipswich) and Morley (Bolton) made an instant impact and really changed the game, we were totally lacking attacking impetus in the first half but they really tightened up the passing in the midfield.

Humphreys scored on his debut too, it was a banger and worth a watch, he did most of the work himself.

Promising.

And to make matters even better, Fatboy was fucking fuming at full time, ranted at Matt Bloomfield as he shook his hand - Bloomfield just laughed in his face. Good work.

Absolutely infuriating. The stats speak volumes. 73% possession, 9 corners and an infinite amount of completed passes. They’re not the stats that count though.

We had total control of the game but just couldn’t find that killer edge. We really need to find that spark/cutting edge up top, Lindsey will be incredibly frustrated.

I would be concerned as a Wigan fan though

We will never do anything with Evatt in charge. Patience is running thin and he has no credit in the bank after last season's calamity. It's such a shame , everything is in place on matchdays at this club from the pre match entertainment to the hotel after the game The whole set up is top class and the fans are absolutely willing us to succeed. but unfortunately not sacking this inadequate manager will mean throwing this all away.

He should have gone after Wembley but we continue with him and the atmosphere will turn toxic and then he will blame the fans (he always has to blame someone). God knows what that team was about today. The performances are just torture to watch.

I feared a few more at 4-0 but managed to get one back.

Pym has credit in the bank but two absolute howlers killed the game by half time. Lincoln came out in the second half and killed the game very effectively, they looked impressive physically throughout the side and stopped us making any proper chances when we were playing it nicely in the first half.

I’m sure we will learn from this and hopefully it makes Cloughie realise we need to play actual defenders in defence.

Very comfortable win. Reading were the definition of style over substance. Pass the ball well but nothing uptop.
Good noise from there fans until the first goal to be fair. Was pretty flat afterwards. Dont think they thought they'd score and I didn't ever think we'd concede today.

We overwhelmed Reading really and never thought we'd lose. 7 of our starting 11 were in the National League with us, madness to have that quality looking back. Cannon MOTM again.

Early days but we look as strong as ever at home, just can't see us losing many games there when we get on top.
