Off to Wembley next week. Only other Bengals game I've been to was THAT Packers game at PBS and Wembley games are generally shite so it ain't ever going to live up to that but I'm in Club Wembley and will be there in my Green jersey repeatedly tutting and sighing at Dalton's conservative QB play. Definitely glad it's at Wembley and not Twickers.

Another 200+ yards for the London born Ajayi :brill:. The 'Fins are on a roll.

Scenes in Arizona. Best low scoring game I think I've seen.

well my epic day of going straight from a night shift to the game went ok.
I'm going to disagree that as a venue it is worse than Wembley - as a place to watch the actual sport I think it is infinitely superior, plus getting into the ground and getting away from it is much better. Plus it was much more relaxed with regard to letting drinks into the ground etc... no pouring all my energy drinks into plastic cups!
The downside of it is the lack of anything around and the lack of space for the tailgate. My reckoning though is that Twickenham is a bit of a trial run for when the NFL moves to Tottenham's new stadium as I think all the issues with Twickenham will be in place there.

As for the game, thank christ for the Giants D - pretty awful game but I really didn't want to see FisherBall prevail. Was sat next to a guy who had been watching the Giants since the '60s and had come over from New York, was interesting to talk to and he was pretty scathing about the current team!
Really looking forward to Sunday's game, best matchup of the lot. Hoping to see something great from AJ and Burfict punch someone.

As for the Lions, tight game but got the win, better is just how good Matt Stafford is playing. Partly this is due to the O-Line stepping up and with the inclusion of Decker just being so much better. But it's not all that, Stafford has cut out the mistakes, everything he did perviously that was great, especially when he had to make quick decisions is still there but he looks so composed when he does and doesn't have time. His ability to thread a fast ball with precision is astonishing. The acquisitions of Boldin and Jones at WR have also been immense to this O.
Problem is the D being so banged up though, revelation of the season Kerry Hyder went off. The front 7 already had 5 starters out injured, can't exactly afford him gone as well. Slay also left the game, if both of them don't make Houston that would be 8 of the starting D injured through 7 weeks.

I'd also like to make a note of Cleveland sports - Cavs win the NBA finals, Indians in the World Series. Browns, well onto their 6th QB of the season already (I actually think Cody Kessler looks pretty decent). They have a realistic chance to win against the Jets next, but I'm thinking if the Indians win the big one I'll tip the Browns for 0-16.

I was in the upper tier, the walk up about 20 flights of stairs almost killed me!

Aye, he's absolutely terrible. Basically Ryan Tannehill 2.0.

Will say Elway is looking an absolute genius now for not matching the Texans offer.

Agree about Tannehill, although he always seems to get on big pass play in (eg Stills TD v the Bills)

While true, I'd temper that somewhat with that they did actually offer slightly less which still would be termed a horrific deal in hindsight too. Lucky escape.

Looking at his contract, he'll be 1st choice there for 2017 too... not much of a year 1 get out for the Texans. Have to wonder now if it was a Smith or O'Brien decision.

Incredibly harsh on Tannehill...a below average quarterback yet can still move the ball between the 20s, also a far better athlete than Osweiler. He puts up 4,000 yards almost every year it seems, Osweiler can't move the ball at all with far superior weapons. Tannehill would have a field day with Hopkins, Fuller and Miller!

Osweiler was a downgrade on Hoyer. I said it last year, he's pretty much Ryan Mallett...useless. He'll be replaced by this time next year, big money deal or not. 5.7 YPA this season.

Certainly when you see the talent they have on that team, probably not.

Not only that, but the offense has got worse as well compared to last season despite in theory a group of young ascending players. Waste of a season.

Bortles is the king of garbage time. His statistics are very deceptive, he doesn't show up until the Jags are 21 points behind. He ain't very good. That Titans offensive line is second only to the Cowboys, they could easily win that division.

Per the twitters:

"Giants DE Owa Odighizuwa was fined $12,154 for pretending to take a picture of S Landon Collins after his pick-6 on Sunday"

I really don't understand the American Sports aversion to drawing/tying games. Seems there is an almost universal hatred towards drawing games and I find it bizarre. This Redskins-Bengals game didn't deserve a winner. A tie was a fair result, yet the overriding sentiment is to whinge about the fact it was a tie. Strange.

Bill O'Brien having to be restrained whilst going berserk Larry Izzo on the sideline. A touching tribute to Houston's glorious football legacy.
