Liverpool fans should be heartened by this performance even if it comes to nothing in the end. The setup of the side looks so much better than the dross they've served up in their games so far this season. It'd be a little ironic if that came at the expense of points today but you'd want to see Liverpool starting with Benteke, Coutinho and Firminho in every game given the way they're gelling.

Very pleased with the performance so far, the side looks so much better and i didn't think i'd see us play like that under Rodgers again. Just need to keep tight at the back for that second half as i'm sure Arsenal will improve.

Absolutely, if Arsenal win by the odd goal in the end, good luck to them, but this has been Liverpool's best performance by far in quite a while, and hopefully bodes well going forward.

I was referring to the missed chances, not that we were playing well. This could turn out to be a six pointer, I'd rather score than play well. Not to mention that a lot of our good play has come from Arsenal defending and building up their play like they WANT to take risks.
