I back them for top 3 in the predictions thread.

Momentum is a big thing in football and they finished last season as one of the form teams in the league.

MK Dons the better team for me. Got in way too much down that left. Looks like a real weak area already. We had plenty of promising moments but we looked sloppy in key areas. Big fan of Kav but he kept messing everything up. Like the look of Sarcevic. Pattison showing why he was a big miss last season. Really happy to come away with three points.

I thought he looked alright. He had one dodgy moment where he didn't get enough power on a header, which allowed MK Dons to mount an attack. Looking forward to seeing more of him.

Have you made any notable signings in the summer or are you going with more or less the same squad?

I see we host you in 2 weeks. If you are travelling north yourself for this one, you will find the vast majority of us are a very welcoming bunch and the bars in the North Parade area of town are the ones to head to for pre match pint and banter.

Very early days indeed, but a confidence boost at least. No notable signings, as I’ve said in another thread, we aren’t bankrolled so it has to be slow, affordable progress for us which the vast majority of us who’ve followed Bromley since our pre Ryman League days are quite happy with. Thank you for the welcome and advice I’ll pass it on but sadly I’ll be watching this game abroad

It was but I'm relatively happy with it. At least we didn't look likely to crumple every time the ball went in our box. First choice midfield out too, so a clean sheet was something to build on.

I watched the Bromley game and they were superb, looked comfortable and were the much better side. It may just be a first game boost, but they shouldn't have any difficulty staying up based on that performance.
