Lytham St Ives sounds lovely.Aye, we stay up at Warton for work now and again and we’ve sacked off trips into Blackpool, it’s an absolute turd of a place. Tend to stick around Lytham/Lytham St Ives. Seems alright up there.
Lytham St Ives sounds lovely.
you what
Fucking hell mate sounds dodgy as that. Surprised you didn’t go back offering out some straighteners the next dayI shit you not.
This was a couple seasons ago. We went up on the Friday, few of the boys wanted to go in the titty bar on broad street. I wasn’t that keen, nor was I pissed. Anyway we go in and I don’t remember anything until an hour after of coming out of there!
Next thing I remember was seeing a mate of mine in the kebab house, he said to me where the fuck have you been? I struggled to reply...
Anyway next day I’m ready for football and then look at my online banking, turns out I had £600 out of my account.
Despite being sober going in and being totally fucked coming out. Truth is I don’t know what happened, I could have got noshed off by dirty den for all I know!
Up the City though
Went to Ipswich last season for the first time and it surprised me how good it was. As for Nottingham, I love the place. Great city. I like Leicester too.Brentford, Birmingham, Fulham and even Ipswich spring to mind. Ipswich is actually a nice little town and has LOADS of boozers.
Imagine Nottingham is bang on for away fans.
Got glassed by some Barnsley lot once, and had a nice black eye too. Doncaster is good for a piss up. Not been there with footy, but few times at the races.Good to see SF is the only one off his trolley. Barnsley is never going to compete with bigger cities with better transport links but to say there's nothing here is utter bollocks. There's about 20 pubs in easy walking distance of Oakwell with something to cater for all tastes, whether you want craft beer, real ale or carling on tap plus plenty of places to grab something to eat. Besides that Sheffield is 15-20 minutes away on the fast train (at
Yeah there's been so many different bars popping up and refurb jobs over the past 18 months.
I read the "new pub for Preston" thread on Pne-online and my mouth starts watering. So many new places that I'm yet to try.
My mates usually wanna just stick to Church Street as we have been doing for about 15 years.... which is gay.

Besides that Sheffield is 15-20 minutes away on the fast train (at regular intervals) and then 5 minutes walk from the station to Oakwell if you can't stand the thought of walking round Baaarnsleh.

Not going Brum Saturday, assume you’re not? Next one will probably be Derby.
Poulton is decent.
Will have to give it a go.
Someone said Fleetwood was worth a visit last time we were up that end but that's a trek from our digs, especially if it's shite.
Fuck ale, go Popworld
LeylandWhite’s taken the Nintendo deprivation well I see...
I'd rather lick the spillage directly off the bar in Bears Paw, whack all the dust out of the seats... gather it all up into a massive pile and snort it up my conk.
Preston's class for drinking now. So much going on, and there's something for everyonePreston must be class as an away day, so many pubs and the city centre has improved so so much in the last 5-10 years.

Not been into town for ages to have a drink, everybody I speak to goes on anout how good it is now. I need to give this ale and butter pie place a try.
Agree about Reading. Bristol City is a ball ache, but Rovers is better if you get off the train at MontpelierWorst is probably Reading and also Bristol is a ball ache

Only thing is there’s nowhere around the ground other than the fan village for an away fan where you’ll be welcome really. Never been to the fan village myself but can’t imagine it’d be much fun when it’s pissing it down like it was Saturday? How is Bristol City a ball ache? The ground is surrounded by boozers and the waterfront is only 2 stops on the Metrobus where there are literally dozens of places to have a beer or preferably a cider.
I'm genuinely amazed by your comment Camborne.
Local knowledge I guess.
Isn't the Robins away friendly nowadays plus the Mardyke, cottage, Rose of Denmark? I know the Cooper's and rising sun are home only and, obviously, the Lions but the rest are okay aren't they?Only thing is there’s nowhere around the ground other than the fan village for an away fan where you’ll be welcome really.
