is afew of the old regular team not there, fair play to them ones going.

I still myself personally think club could and should have bought their match ticket for them or else given them a free ticket to cup last week............a small fee, but excellent PR

saying that its easy thesedays them coaches are so so so much better than 10 years ago when I used to do most away games, even me at 6'4 can just about lay down with the room

Sky Bet have offered to pay for travel and match tickets for everybody going down from Carlisle. Easy PR for them and a good reward for fans who are making the effort so fair enough.

Back when Dave started going to away games it was nothing but dirt tracks across the country and you had the extra danger of highwaymen to contend with.

Cumbria in the 1990's was a different place indeed.

that is a good offer from skybet, as you say nice easy advertising as sky sports news will plug that afew times I bet over next 24 hours.

and I wish I did do them all in the 90's shoddy it was a lot more fun then, mine was the 00's era really.

although I did do Plymouth in 1999.......it was horrendous and we were utter crap. I seem to remember about only 1 shot with afew mins to go.

I'd liked to do this one though, is something weirdly appealing about a game with no away fans.

I assume we're staying with 3-5-2, but that team looks very attacking considering we are away from home.

4-1 Plymouth
Wyke

I hope I'm wrong, but a very tough game ahead.

Is that is our team its again 4 up front and i'm going for another 4-3..............but again not sure who.

lots and lots of fun tonight.

i do sometimes question his tinkering......you remove Henry who played well, yet keep Joyce who played awful, keep the 3 poor CB and won't play Troy, etc, etc.

but we'll see, it is extremely attack based that.

As BigDave says, it's not 3-5-2 at all. The way we set up is more a 3-3-4.

I can see some sense in this team although I'm not sure about seemingly random choice of players for the wing-back positions - surely McQueen has warranted a start by now? We've got the three solid midfielders on, all of whom have a defensive aspect to their game which Hery could be seen to miss, and this sort of makes up for the more attacking wing-backs who may be able to get forward more and deliver crosses to Ibehre and Wyke who are both tall and will hopefully thrive off good balls into the area.

I wonder if maybe at times Joyce will drop into the back four with Miller and Grainger going out wide, resulting in a 4-4-2 If he does need to switch to 4-4-2 all he needs to do it take Joyce off for Troy.

Just looking, there were a couple on their last match thread... don't know where they've gone, or whether some of the well known Plimuff fans from the last forum ever made it across.

Jake Jervis scores for Plymouth.

We sounded like the better team before that.

Just have to come from behind again. I'm confident we have it in us, sounds like we've played well... we've come from behind plenty of times so far this season and we have goals in us.

Even when we play well and the other team doesn't, we still lose.

Apologies for starting another thread, couldn't find it.

We were crap in the first half, despite going a goal up

Fucking terrible this.

I'm numb. Another summer of recruitment, same old leaky defence and constant disappointment.
