Think Portsmouth have better support than Blackburn but recent history over 30 years or so Blackburn have been more successful by winning the premier league, getting to cup finals and sustained in the premier league for a long period of time before they got relegated so i would just favour Blackburn tbh.

Are you actually been serious because you got the biggest 5 spot on?

Us and Wigan are nowhere near the smallest.

Being serious. I might actually put MK Dons instead of Rotherham but there is no chance Wigan aren't in the bottom five.

If you're not counting history like you said then the only things you can judge on are budget, attendance, stadium size and quality of the squad, I'd order it something like:

1. Bradford
2. Portsmouth
3. Blackburn
4. Wigan
5. Charlton
6. Bristol Rovers
7. Blackpool
8. Plymouth
9. Rotherham
10. Oxford
11. MK Dons
12. Doncaster
13. Northampton
14. Peterborough
15. Scunthorpe
16. Gillingham
17. Southend
18. Oldham
19. Walsall
20. Rochdale
21. Bury
22. Wimbledon
23. Fleetwood
24. Shrewsbury

No chance we (MKD) are in the bottom five. The OP said not historically.

We have the 2nd biggest stadium in the league, average 10k attendances, and a top 6 budget.

Lol we are absolute nowhere near the smallest in the league and neither are Wigan. Im gonna list all the clubs who are smaller who haven't been mentioned yet who get smaller crowds, history records ect and if you can give a good reason why anyone of them are bigger then give us an explanation.

Bury

Doncaster
Gillingham
MK Dons
Oldham

Shrewsbury
Northampton
Southend
Oxford
Peterborough

Well that probably works better in our favour because we're probably bigger club now than we've ever been crowd wise, we'll average around 7 to 8k next season which only an handful of clubs will beat.

Likewise. If taking history into account, we're fucked. Although saying that, we've won more things than Rochdale have.

But only taking into account attendances (we averaged 10k last season), stadium, transfer budget and current squad, we're up there. I just marked us down because our away support is genuinely shite.

Wasn't fishing just wanted opinions and it looks like Pompey and that's fair enough.

Hmm. You said on the City forum you thought we were biggest, got a load of responses completely disagreeing and then appear on here to see if non-City fans agree with you, which unsurprisingly (and quite reasonably) they don't.

Give it up...

Small club then. We probably take more away from home than you and you are positioned in an advantageous place to be taking a lot away from home

You need to take history into account to even make a judgement on this.
