We've 'done' one mid table since 2000 and it was boring..... no wonder I've aged in that time

A) you can call a thread a name (where Bingham is concerned)

B) you weren't wrong. Bingham is class, he's just going through a bit of a rough patch. Like Hazard this season. It doesn't mean they've all of a sudden become shit players.

Paynter's done all right to be fair but he shouldn't be captain.

Bingham looks like he has the potential to do well but it's just not happening at the moment.

I'm happy to keep him next season too but probably not as a starter unless he somehow rapidly gets some confidence and learns how to finish. Mind you, probably won't happen with Pools' famous ability to coach any ability out of all its past and present employees.

If the bottom end of the table finished similar to how it currently looks then I would imagine that Hartlepool's strike force next season will consist of whoever Dagenham and Newport release.

Excellent plan to send Harrison in as Bingham's understudy.

If he comes back as half the player Bingham is, we should be expecting a further 40 goals from him in the remaining 15 games or so.

It's a no brainer really isn't it. If you have a young player with a bit of potential that isn't quite ready for your first team, what do you do? You send him out on loan, but not just for a loan spell, you send him for an education. The amount he'll learn this month from training with Bingham every day, money can't buy that kind of footballing education.
