Having a great defender will help you keep clean sheets, but that only gets you so far. You don't win games without scoring goals. Therefore Bingham the GOAT will never be yesterdays news.

3, although 1 of them is a bit of a non-signing so say 2. And as long as you're playing the 'interest from other clubs' game, 2 of ours had interest from other clubs so I guess we're going up.

You may be right, 4 go up don't forget!! In all honesty, most Poolies will be happy if we can knock on the door of the play offs, personally I'd like to see us win more than we lose and have a + goal difference, but Ronnie Moore is a one off , if we are to do well , it will be under him

A + goal difference would be nice as we've not had one for 3 or 4 seasons now. I'd take mid-table stability this season, anything more will be a bonus. That may change when I see who our next few signings are though because I think quite a bit of the budget will be freed up now. Getting rid of the transfer listed players would also be nice.

I think you start off as an Icon at Pools and gradually work yourself down

He has indeed.... I'm quite surprised genuinely though that we're losing staff to our L2 rivals. Perhaps Caig has seen the shit making its way toward the fan and wants to go somewhere with a bit of stability, or him and Curle haven't been getting on. Can't think that a man so steeped in Carlisle United would leave us for any other reason.

All i've heard of Caig is that he's shit at his job... maybe got the sack? Hanford last year was a disaster on multiple occasions and Caig not only trained him but he picked him in the summer. I wouldn't think it'd be hard to do better than him.
