Looks like we may be on!

Just need Boris to not close stadia before then and we might get to see the lads.

The 7 day isolation changes things I imagine plus gives them a couple of days training so hopefully go into it prepared well.

Aye can’t believe they’d be promoting selling tickets otherwise even if yet to get any official confirmation of it.

Just then leaves us the more conventional issue of what sort of team we’ll have available for it. That said it’ll have been over 2 weeks since Newport so wouldn’t shock me if all of a sudden out of nowhere that James Wilson was back in the match day squad alongside Rodney and Worrall.

Think Worrall was likely to be back for Exeter. Wouldn't shock me if Wilson was back it has been 6-7 weeks, maybe even Amoo as just over 3 weeks if it wasn't a serious hammy?

Jake Taylor was close so expect him to return and hopefully Rodney as hes a striker at least.

They didn't call it yesterday before the rule change so assume more were available than the previous week.

Need to win this one if it goes ahead to keep us ticking over until Jan, have another 2 weeks break from the league after NYD so should be far stronger by the time Swindon comes around in terms of player availability and new signings but need to avoid losing too much ground over these next 3.

Our game against Exeter on 29th has now gone too, thanks to COVID and injuries in their squad, sadly I have to say that that is no real surprise.

Sad to see all these games off.
We have a few players unvaccinated which is disappointing. But even Leeds who are 100% jabbed aren't immune.

Vale v Salford now called off after all. Can only guess there’s been new cases otherwise not sure why they were carrying on as though the game was going ahead.

Must be more today as Pett told a fan it was on as far as he was concerned.

Combination of injuries and positive cases, if new cases that puts Rochdale game in serious doubt.

As it happens this has worked out quite well for us in terms of our promotion hopes as no doubt the team we will be able to name for these rearranged games will be far stronger.

Our next home game now will be the 8th January against Brentford so that's going to be 6 weeks between home games for us. Probably Carlisle last season or when their stadium was flooded might have had similar but can't imagine many other times this will have happened.

We went 8 weeks without a home game in 78/9. Think there was snow on the ground for about a month.

We haven’t played at home since the 27th Nov. Next home game due is Stevenage on the 1st Jan. That would be 5 weeks, but if that’s off then we haven’t got a game till the 11th due to Port Vale being through to the FA Cup 3rd round.

Stevenage is actually our only scheduled game of any sort still on between the 11th Dec and 11th Jan. Apart from that we’ve basically had a month long winter break.

Well I remember the 62/63 season and I think most clubs went 10 weeks without a game.

‘‘Tis better to get games called off for Covid than playing on behind closed doors.

I won’t believe this game is on until we kick off on Sunday.

In fairness me also, maybe covid looked at mansfield and thought sod it - wouldn’t blame it

Given were on good form and hopefully a decent crowd i’d imagine the club will do all they can to get it on, though of course it’s not so simple

We went six weeks without a home game in 2013/14, which also included three and a half weeks without a game home or away purely due to the weather. Had five games in hand by the time we came back.

Of course, we ‘ad it tuff.

No games for 3 years and only had girls and a handful of contestants from Rue Paul’s Drag Race to make up a team. Not even had jumpers for goalposts.

With the way Keith Hill is talking it sounds like our game is going ahead, we get another shot at actually winning an away game this year.

We have got four confirmed Covid cases, so our game must be in doubt now.

We played no games at all in the January, and just once in the February (Torquay away). We didn't play a single home game between December 22nd and March 16th!

Our home game to Rochdale scheduled tomorrow is now postponed due to COVID cases among our squad.

This is a shame for many though as I am currently self isolating at least it's not a game I'm going to have to miss. For reals though, I know it means a lot to folk.

I’d imagine the Salford game will be off as well. The Scunthorpe game is probably also in doubt.

Tranmere hit by covid - I expect they'll cancel at some point this morning/afternoon.

Not mentioned on our Twitter account yet. We have 2injured 2 banned and 4 covid at the last pre-Christmas count. Any more than a couple of new positives and we’d not have 14 fit players, assuming one of our keepers is available.

If the game does go ahead, think Barrow would be favourites now.

We still had nineteen registered players available at the last count, so I would be surprised if there is a postponement now unless Barrow have problems.

It was in Wirral and Barrow local press (so taken with a pinch of salt) that there were 'covid issues' in the Tranmere squad and haven't been able to train properly. Just seems all set up for a late postponement.

Will it be a good crowd? I hope so but I know loads that can’t make it due to covid.

We've set off so unless there's some late Covid shenanigans on Mansfield's end game is on.

Struggle to see how we get anything from this, we've looked far from convincing under the new manager, albeit 4 points from 6, Oates will be busting a gut after all the stick he received in the summer, Tyler Burey being back and hopefully in the squad is a big boost for us, can pull something out of nothing, I'd be happy with a point here, keep us chugging along.
