There pricing people out completely

Disabled people, they wanted to get kids out of the lower lansdown & the increases have came at a time where life bills are going up by a large amount as well
You better start earning more money then fella.
That's the point of inflation.

The 'keep City small' merry band are out in force on OTIB I see.
The thought of protesting during the game in our 2nd best season for about 40 years is totally ridiculous.
People find any reason to complain.

Well you would be happy as you've barely been affected. The attitude of "I'm alright so the rest of you need to shut up and stop moaning" is a poor one. I've also barely been affected, but it'll probably be me or you that gets shafted in the near future.
That’s not my attitude at all, my original post was just to get an understanding of why it seemed so many of our fan base was unhappy, and I agree with the points raised as to what is unfair, and if I was in that position I would be pissed off myself.

Football is a luxury, if you cant afford it, don't go.
I couldn't even go to watch Yate Town in my youth as my family was so poor.
I got over it.

How much is an adult season ticket for next season where each of you seat? Out of curiosity?

Also, I had a look at the prices and an u22 ticket for £230 (which is the same as our u23). How did your club manage to work that out as £9 a game?! :dk:
My ticket for next season will be £416, to sit on one of the side stands. It’s classed as the wing of the stand but where I’m sitting is pretty central tbh, obviously to sit central is more money.

On the £9 a game, I’m assuming that’s worked on the cheapest ticket they offer, behind the goal.

I'll pay it because I haven't really got a choice but I don't get why my SC has gone up less that 4% while my old mans has gone up 30% for exactly the same seat? As I buy dads ticket as his birthday and Xmas present it's cheesed me off a bit if I'm being honest. It feels like they only want full paying, non retired adults.
as for JL's reply, absolute horseshit waffle, probably written by old sleazybollocks Ashton.

Have they put the oaps prices up all over the ground then?

You have to pay real money to watch Yate Town?

I don't know Jon but they have in the Dolman, where my old man has had the same seat for 47 years! The fact that mine has barely gone up while his has rocketed is pretty damn poor!

It’s a working mans game. Never has been a luxury? I think the point people are making that they’re being priced out of the game. Surely that’s not right?

Yeah Sheffield Wednesday are charging £37 or Ipswich are charging £30+ but that’s not the point. Just because other football clubs are asking for heavy prices, doesn’t mean we have to bend over and follow suit.

Typical British mentality. We’ve done this to ourselves and have done nothing about it. You only have to look at European football in places like Germany, Spain etc. It’s very cheap to watch football, can drink in the ground and what a surprise, the atmosphere is miles better.

The English game is dead.

Bristol has high levels of poverty a game of football every other Saturday probably helps with life.

The disabled supporters having pay full whack is out of order

'Email today, 'Dear Bristol sport customer'....blah blah blah.
'customer'???
At least last year it said 'fellow supporter.
Fookin' Bristol sport!!! :hb:
Rant over.
Feel free to abuse, I really don't care. I follow our club, not a business nor the other Bristol sport stuff and feel so detached now.
I don't care about formula ford, basketball etc.

Fuck that, I'm done after 43 years until they realise we are fans / supporters, not feckin' 'customers'!
No home football for me apart from the odd one. I'll pay for IFollow and a VPN plus the odd away game.

£25 a game out the Rec I reckon tuned into radio Bristol. :bang:

Gets more out of touch every year mate. It isn't the working class game it once was.

Bristol Sport are a decent team, remember them giving Hull a good game in a playoff final and getting to a league cup semi final. Even when Windass scored a thunderbastered they were still singing Bristol sport FC the team for me, great support.

Thank you all so much for Vyner, he's different class to this league. Can we keep him?

We've had a pretty mutually beneficial loan arrangement over the last few years - Bobby Reid, Joe Bryan and now Vyner.

Garita even looked a superstar for one game (luckily for us on debut vs Exeter), then got injured and was a complete donkey thereafter.

Talking of Bobby Reid. do any Bristol Sport fans reckon he might be available / any good? I see the Bristol Post links him with Bournemouth.

Bournemouth would actually be a really good move for him I think. Just the right sort of club, with the right footballing philosophy for him to get game time and progress. Of course I'd love to think he would stay here but very unlikely unless we somehow get promoted.

Absolutely no chance of keeping him Professor, maybe a short loan again though. We've got yet another one just coming through, Lloyd Kelly, who may be even better. Admittedly a left back but has already started for us and is a regular with England U 20's. If we don't sell Joe Bryan, I can see him possibly heading down the M5 along with, Aden Baldwin, a centre half. I guess this all goes out the window if we're in the same league next season which is a possibility given your run of form.
As you say, it's been mutually beneficial so I'm sure a couple of our academy bright young things would benefit from a year with you.
Well done on beating the soap dodgers by the way!

If he doesn't sign a new contract, he WILL be gone this summer, no doubt at all.

If vyner does as well for us after the loan spell with you as Bryan and Reid have then you can fuck right off. To be fair vyner has been around the first team a couple of years now but when he’s played it’s been as a right back and not really impressed.. it’s always been said though that CB is his preferred position, and sounds as though he’s done superb with you lot in that position so hopefully he will get the chance with us soon.

Bobby is quality, his work rate is absolutely phenonemal and will press defenders and run after balls for the entire 90 mins.

He’s been with us several years now and played as a midfielder and not really impressed. First season as a striker this year and it’s been like a completely new signing.

Think his style would compliment yours really well, can definitely see him joining you in the summer if we don’t (we wont) go up.

Imagine if Johnson didn't manage to pull a 20-a-season man out of his ass every year.
