I am not the biggest fan of Flint compared to some and am quite looking forward to how a Wright/Baker Partnership goes...
But one thing you cannot knock Aden for is
a) his discipline, rarely gets a yellow and no reds until last night
b) his injury availability

Someone please explain to me why it seems as though 90% of our entire fan base are livid with the season ticket announcement?

I know about the club moving the family section to the upper tier of the lansdown and agree that would piss me off if I took my son to the football, he’s not old enough yet anyway.

But surely that wouldn’t effect so many of the fan base? I just don’t get what all the uproar is about I’m happy with the announced prices

I saw The disabled people part also but he backed down a bit with the statement today on that I thought? My ST has only gone up by 15 quid, could’ve been worse.

Backed down slightly now but in 2 seasons time there paying full whack.

Kids ticket gone up from £49 - £99 & £150 centre lansdown.

Adult tickets gone up between £75 & £100.

I can’t remember a time when tickets were sold this early either.

It’s the steepest rise I’ve seen in my time, the club doesn’t give a fuck, these people have literally sat in the same groups for decades & they now threatened this with no second thought.

It’s a big family get together at City & people don’t reliese this

The lansdown was already comfortably the most expensive place to sit so seems a bit odd that they would put the prices up even further beyond the dolman. The view is exactly the same ffs

My seat (before they introduced an u23 band at £230, which is pretty decent) as an adult is £550+. That is behind the goal upper tier, not in a central position. And for that price, we watch boring football, funded by next to nothing in every area from transfers to the state of the pitch (which used to be an award winning pitch). After our worst season last year in 60 years, they actually had the decency to increase the prices in line with inflation, and increased the age for OAPs from 60 to 65 so many had their tickets increased further.

So yeah, point being, be happy with your tickets and the way the club is run.

This is why I’m struggling to understand the outrage. As far as I can tell it’s just one stand that’s ridiculously priced, all the others are fine. Our chairman did say that we were one of the lower priced STS in the championship but that isn’t good enough for the majority of our fan base apparently.

Seeing as I have to find £100 this season extra for tickets, on top of the extra £120 added on to CT, the extra £549 pension donation, the harsh winter & rising G&E tariffs, shopping rising.

It adds up, 2 adults & 2 kids in the Dolman is a extra £250 to find by end of March it just unreasonable.

Well you would be happy as you've barely been affected. The attitude of "I'm alright so the rest of you need to shut up and stop moaning" is a poor one. I've also barely been affected, but it'll probably be me or you that gets shafted in the near future.

Also, I had a look at the prices and an u22 ticket for £230 (which is the same as our u23). How did your club manage to work that out as £9 a game?!

Well one things for sure, it has really alienated the fanbase and caused a huge division between the club and the fans. It's a good job we've been having a decent season. I'd hate to think how poisonous things would be if we were in another relegation battle.
