Here we are, the last city before the top 3 and just missing out is...
4. Liverpool
C&B Opinion: Ay, ay, calm down, I didn't vote for it!
Description: Liverpool, a city on Merseyside, just misses out on the top 3 of this prestigious list. If you didn't know, Liverpool is famous for being the birth place of The Beatles and the city has been dining out on that for decades. It's like Status Quo living off the royalties of Rocking all over the World. The local dish is Scouse or Lobscouse, a stew made from any old shite a person can find and gives the colloquial name for a resident of Liverpool. The world's first passenger railway line was built in 1830 and ran between Liverpool and Manchester giving the townsfolk of both an opportunity to express their hatred of each other more quickly. One of the largest industries in Liverpool nowadays is insurance to compensate all the people who have stuff nicked by scousers. I went for the first time this year and I was pleasantly surprised to be honest although it is way too highly placed in my opinion.
Famous People: Derek Acorah, Ken Dodd
C&B Fact: The Film, Hunt for Red October was filmed there. The name is in reference to the hunt for an October where Liverpool are still in with a shout of the league title. The hunt continues.
