If we are horribly cut adrift by Xmas - we may give more tickets on the pop side.
Trouble is - if we spend money expanding the ground and then go down, we are stuck with a ground holding 10000 say and back down to crowds of 3000.
Rather have a packed Pirelli as it is.

How dare you all forget we are the proud holders of the FSF Away Day of the Year award for 2015. Brings a tear to my eye just thinking about it. Right up there with the FA Cup! ;)

On topic, Burton if possible need to follow what Fleetwood do, I'd say they are the best comparison as they also allocate a terrace and main stand seating. Fleetwood make away fans with seating tickets enter through different turnstiles and use different facilities to those in the terrace. I'm not sure if that's possible at Burton but if it is, then that's the first step. If that's not viable then the least they should do is add more railings to the terrace and tighten stewarding at terrace entrances, ensuring that no one with seated tickets get themselves in and overcrowd it.
We have away fans using the same facilities for the terrace and seating areas, not really had too many problems. You definitely get a few sneaking in to the terrace for the second half (you get that in the home end as well...) it it's usually always been fine. Just need to have stewards wise to the issue and it's usually fine.

Apart from the fact there's always a massive queue

Unless they've changed it, that's how it always used to be. We took capacity there in the Conference play-offs, and there was a few hundred seated and seperate.

Anybody who calls for reinforcements on OTIB deserves to be pilloried and pelted with excrement and/or banned from 1FF.

“1FF is a great forum, and could do with a few opinions of some of you lot - not too many City on there at the moment!” – QA22

“There are quite a few of us already but the more the merrier.” - ciderup

“Sign up if you can. We're badly in need of more City fans on there.” – BCFC Jordan

“Been perusing the football forum '1FF' and a thread on transfers when I came across what I can only describe as a deluded Rotherham fan being highly critical of our beloved team and our strike force as is. Blood began to boil so had to get away but worth a look if the rain's kept you in!” – Cobbsoldun

“I'm not a regular reader but the all clubs forum at 1FF seems civilised. There is reasonable banter between fans of various clubs and I have seen a few names from OTIB.” – Leveller

“Come and join us.. Come and join us.. Come and join us if you will!” – RKP1

As recent as last month. A simple forum search reveals all.

To rid an infestation, you have to find the root cause of it.
Fair enough. My post must be an old one though as I've been banned from OTIB for months! Had a bit of a row about the fans in the Atyeo and upset a few so it seemed the obvious answer. This is now the ONLY forum I post on FWIW not that I have anything bad to say about OTIB.
I consider myself chastised mate.

Since you're new here I'll save you the long version. When you get a football forum aimed for fans of every club, is dominated by one set of supporters it gets boring pretty fast. I feel 1FF has become OTIB #2 for Bristol City fans who get banned from their own club forum. I'm all for reading views of other clubs, it's why I joined this forum in the first place, but... and I do not exaggerate here 75% of what I read on here is Bristol City related. I appreciate that other clubs fans could try and get more people to post on here, but I feel the constant Bristol City talk has/is/will drive people away from here. Most fans of other clubs here don't want to see 5 pages of posts of Lee Tomlin transfer rumours for example.

Put the shoe on the other foot, and if 50 Wolves fans joined this forum and constantly flooded the forum with Wolves related matters it would bore the hell out of people too.

For the record I think most of the Brizzle fans here are great, but even you guys must think that the balance of Bristol City fans to the rest of the Championship section is ridiculously disproportioned.

Maybe we could work on trying to get more fans of other clubs to post to even it out, although I have tried and failed on that front.

For what it's worth though it has been better over the last week or so when the transfer thread was cleansed. Hoping it will be better when the season starts over again.

Also sorry for hijacking the Burton away thread

I post on OTIB, and not banned. I really knew nothing of this forum, and seeing the Burton away thread, thought that I would sign up, as I live in that area. No hidden agenda of infiltration....makes a change to see an over representation of Bristol City fans, as we pretty much get overlooked by pretty much everyone!

We are trying to keep most of the City chat in what was the stadium thread to avoid just the scenario mentioned by Mark. It appears to be working as there was page after page of City stuff at times which isn't fair on the rest. There are quite a few of us so it makes perfect sense now that the stadium rebuild is pretty much finished.

Glad it isn't just me who has tried and failed to get fans of other clubs to join this place. I'v tried to get some of my mates who i watch Reading with to join but had no luck. I didn't ask my Bristol City supporting mate to join though. Enough of them on here already.

I think this forum is great but it'd be nice to have some more activity at times, there seems to be a lack of Bolton and Fulham fans especially.

First post! I have been exiled up here for 13 years. Moving to Winshill soon, so happy days! I could walk.
Moving to Winshill, pronounced Winsul by the way, bit rough up on the council estate up there mate !
Hope you enjoy your time in Burton and can get to watch the Albion when you can, more than welcome to join us anytime if you PM me.
Good luck to the cider boys except when you play us !
