We got Palace at home which is a decent draw.

I will have a £100 bet with you now that it will not be 0-7, or 7-0 or any other instance where one of the teams scores 7.

They came on when we were 6-0 down - what were you expecting them to do, run around like blue-ass flies trying to get a goal back.

It's actually another criticism of Elliott that he brought them on when the game was so clearly lost and all it was doing was running the risk of them getting injured.
Result not score ya whopper

Yes came on middle of second half and continued the trend. Let in more than they scored.

The next game between your clubs will probably be a 0-0 draw.
Exeter will almost certainly never again score 7 goals out of 8 shots on target [unbelievable stat] while Cheltenham will probably park their double decker bus in front of goal.

After away trips at Oxford and Peterborough now a short trip to Barrow on Tuesday night!

We made a handful of chances in the first round and I suspect we'll do the same again.

Try going to Gillingham and then Accrington!

No idea what we will do, we simply have to get more players in as we can't play the same XI as yesterday.

We beat Gillingham in the Cup when they were the higher side, can see the opposite on Tuesday.

You need to find more opponents like us last weekend...who are willing to score goals for you, to save your players the bother.

Seriously though, I was chatting with a mate before yesterdays game who had gone to the Lincoln game and he was full of praise for the club...who handed out bottles of water before, during and after the game...that is a really decent way to treat fans. Football is often criticised by those with little interest of knowledge of the game...be that clubs, owners, fans or players...it is important to recognise when someone does something right!

You’ve got to laugh really, could see that result coming a mile off. (Well actually had a draw in my acca but still). Honestly it’s like Devon Lad has never watched lower league football before, no one’s that good and everyone’s got a total clusterfuck of a performance in them.

You'll notice I'm never brash about our chances in games. I may argue with people who think they're going to batter us, but by and large I'll always say I'll take a draw, with the odd - we "should" be looking to win if we're playing someone cut adrift at the bottom.

It is for the very reason above. Football has a nasty habit of making you look like a dick.

Yeah, they did well to be fair and hired massive portable fridge trailers. Not sure how many bottles they ordered but they were nowhere near running out. I think I managed three over the course of the afternoon and I suspect others did as well. They actually do very, very well with those small gestures that have a big impact on people.

Believe it or not, our CEO said the Club had 20 odd emails from disgruntled fans who felt misled because a) they couldn't find the free water bottles (the Club and local media stated where you could find them in the build up to the game along with fan-zone and stadium announcements during the afternoon), and b) when they went to catering points, they weren't free (as per point a), and we rent out the catering space anyway so it was never going to be available there anyway!).

Newport away for us. A good chance to play a few of those that have been champing at the bit. Hopefully starts for Pigott, Scarlett, Mingi, Swanson, Mnoga, Robertson and Lowery. All good players so hopeful of a result.

Quite fancy reaching Round 3 for a change.

Southampton at home for us. Felt when it was first drawn that we could get a good result from this, however Bonner has said he's making changes. Possibly as many as 9.

Says it all though doesn't it, you can make as many changes as you want for the 2nd biggest domestic cup but have to keep most of your team from the last game for the Pizza Shield

What team will Everton send out tomorrow, everything suggests a 'B' team with a sprinkling of first teamers. Expect Fleetwood to make 3/4 changes from the weekend, whatever, we will be well up for it and while I expect the Toffees to prevail, they will know they have been in a game
Announced today that Fleetwood have acquired Waterford FC, Pilley certainly has a vision of with 'Fleetwood ' teams in South Africa and UAE. Will they ever play each other lol

hills offering 10/1 or 9/1 depends when you log on on us winning tonight.
All depends on how serious Gerrard is taking the competition

Seems like we scraped through against Barrow. Equaliser in the 90th minute and keeper saves 3 penalties to win 3-1. Into 3rd round we go!

I immediately bet on WBA when I saw the teams announced - seven changes with a completely rested defence. I feared the worst, but the young lads showed up and were worthy winners.

Sibley, as a large majority of our fan base recognises, is our best player by a significant margin so it's good when he's allowed to play with a little bit of freedom. Remarkable player, exactly what we're missing - a little bit of a maverick who can win a game on his own.

Bloody penalties. I'd like to think if we had Jamal Blackman in goal he would have saved at least one of them. However sounded like we didn't deserve to go through.
Still not got to the third round in 33 years.

I presume you played your kids this evening? Not that I'm complaining of course.
Not really - squad players.

We were just very poor without Sarr , Pedro and Kamara.

No pace or composure.

Similar amount of changes to the Doncaster game as well to keep things fairly fresh.

Suspect Garrick, Sanders, Robson, Rushworth(?) will all return come the weekend and hopefully the likes of Jackson, House and Mandroui will be fit enough give us more options if we need them.
