Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
Both City and Napoli could have new record top goalscorers tonight as Hamsik is one goal behind Maradona's record while Aguero is one goal behind Eric Brook's.

As an added link, Maradona is Aguero's son's grandfather.

You wanted mildly interesting stats and trivia? Boom. Have some of that muthafuckers!

The City vs Napoli game is being hyped beyond belief, it's going to have to be an absolute classic to get anywhere near the expectations that have been set.

My oh my, OMG and what else you can say: It's CL (and EL) again. Can't be that worse again for the 6 German clubs, can it? They won't lose all again, right? At least Bayern Munich with their new messias at the helm (again) will get a result and Dortmund in...wait...Nikosia, that should be a win (yeah better should otherwise they'll be out after 3 matches). And Leipzig against Porto. They should deliver too.
Although I am mostly shite at predicting because I am too biased to be objective (next weekend I predict a 0-0 at HSV vs Bayern :D ) I am going for 3 wins in 3 CL matches..way-hay,up she rises (sorry, I am playing too much Black Flag again at the moment :D )

Its probably the game of the night though Real Madrid v Spurs runs it close. I'll however be watching Liverpool no doubt struggle away at Maribor!

I'd expect Real to beat Spurs relatively easily despite their shortcomings at home recently, Spurs do have a few key players missing too in Alli, Dembele and Rose.

I'd say City/Napoli is the more intriguing game because there is a chance Napoli could come away with a result.

You've got to get a result tonight Salty, you've drawn your two games so far!

Napoli will go for it and are definitely capable of getting at City, they are a good side. Both sides are top of their respective leagues too so I think this could indeed potentially be a classic.

As for Liverpool, yeah I've not been too fussed about the opening two results providing we get the wins over Maribor home and away, and Spartak at home; but there can be no excuses from now on, its a must win.

Just get a stuttering stream up and running and miss a goal, great! At least we're ahead for a change!

And there is the third, Salah, curls it in. He's been excellent tonight, they can't live with him.

City have been excellent, Napoli are starting to put a few things together though.

A Napoli goal would make things interesting.

If Sane didn't have his head up his arse City would be 3 or 4 up here.
This. I'm disappointed Mertens didn't score that pen as it would have given City a lesson. They should be 4-0 but it's 2-1 (again, had Mertens scored). They put their foot off the gas past the half-hour mark but some of the football on show is sublime. De Bruyne is better than during his last season at Wolfsburg which is saying something!

Shame Napoli didnt score that Penalty.

Yeah, that would have set things up nicely.

Hopefully they come out and get an early one to keep things interesting.

City playing a very, very dangerous game here. They look convincing for about 8 passes then gift Napoli the ball in some obscene positions. I was impressed in the first 30 minutes but this is pretty shite.

Napoli are causing a few problems. Probably the toughest game City have had this season.

What is the betting Liverpool still manage to draw against this lot at Anfield!

Impressive tonight though as were City at times (in attack anyway) and for different reasons Spurs.

6 - 0, biggest away win in Liverpool's European history (which says something lets be honest!); Ox gets on the scoresheet too and Sevilla gubbed, so we go top. Lovely! :D
