We lose the game when Salah goes off, we were edging it up until then. Since it, we’ve sat back hoping to nick it and while it’s Karius who fucked up today, Real are so good and we’re so poor at sitting back that someone will invariably fuck up.

As for Liverpool, I'm proud of the lads this year. Only the second season back in the CL, and the first under Klopp, to not only pre-qualify, to then finish top of the group, smack Porto, City and Roma off, and then make it to the final; well thats been an amazing run.

Tonight they showed plenty of heart, but not enough quality, especially when Salah got injured - and of course you can't justify the keeper being not good enough - however, they have fully deserved to get to this stage, and hopefully we can have a good run at it again next year as we'll be more experienced, have more depth, and go again!

It's been a hell of a ride!

It was simplified, obviously. But it can't be denied that even a half decent keeper would have resulted in Real scoring only 1 of the 3 goals they scored.

New keeper in the summer, and Keita coming in with another couple of buys to improve depth and there is no reason we can't improve again.

Klopp's record in finals is a concern however.
