Some decent followings from championship teams this weekend, i know Wednesday doing well this season but thats an awesome following at Preston. Bristol City following to MK is decent aswel to say you played their a few times over last few seasons. Ours is bang average at best.

I know they've got nothing to shout about lately but that's pretty average at best from Charlton.

Given the way we are playing and having not won at Fulham for over 20 years I think it's absolutely sensational to be honest.

Every single one of those nutjobs should be commended IMO. I know if it was me in their situation I certainly wouldn't be attending away games.

We were in exactly the same situation as them a few games ago

Their issues are far worse than on the pitch..

And? You go to football to support the football team, not its owners. Unless of course there's a boycott, which I haven't heard there to be.

For what it's worth, our board had left us in a miserable position at the start of the season. Our support, although nothing special, didn't shy away.

But surely you'd be torn whether to continue to pump money into the hands of the people you despise? You mention a boycott, is this not what the Charlton fans are doing?

Well not really cause their fans are still attending, just in below average numbers. I'm not slating Charltons fans for it, just wondering why JJH said he'd never attend in that situation, when we've been in equally bad, and worse situations (foot of league one) in the last few years.

I don't know the full ins and outs of the situation at Charlton but have the Bristol City fans in recent years (which you are comparing them to) felt the need to protest on a regular basis?

No because we've been average to shit for 30+ years so it's never anything new if we're doing badly. Plus our fans recognise it would be foolish to chase out Lansdown and his money even if it never actually gets us anywhere.

Probably would've been protests against the board had we have dropped into League 2 in 2014 mind, which we looked destined for after 30 games.

You've hit the nail on the head, Lansdown is funding your club. I've read that the Charlton owners want to run at break even, so self funding which in the championship is very dangerous IMO

On the pitch isn't even the biggest problem for Charlton at the moment which speaks volumes. I'd vent my frustration at the owners by not attending it, with all the ongoings at Charlton currently there's no chance I'd be wasting money on that.

wednesday following outstanding. cannay remember the last time they took 5k away.

brighton following very good, considering the distance and it being on sky like.

brizzle city following excellent as well, especially when they had 5.5k they're last year.

Both clubs are in London, can go to the game on the tube!

Regardless what's happening off the pitch, you're in a relegation battle and Fulham are right down there with us.

1,700 is average IMO! Especially when Derby and Brum have taken 4,000+ down there recently. I'm hoping we will too!

We're not in any battle, to be in a battle would require some sort of effort from the players.

Yeah, on the face of it 1,700 is poor but I'm still amazed that many bothered, I was stupid enough to be one of them.

Our average attendance is down this year. We used to be comfortably third behind them Yorkshire teams but we are slipping to 7th or 8th. I think it's a few things but Sky and midweek matches haven't helped at all:

Sky:
Huddersfield
Bristol
Brighton
QPR
Wolves
Blackburn

Midweek:
Hull
Burnley
Reading

They will all have had an extra 300 or so if they weren't on telly. The midweek ones are terrible too. Long trips.

On about 2,300 sold for QPR away, 400 or so tickets left, should sell out. No surprise really, been a bit surprised it's sold this slowly but the club have been making everyone wait in tiers.
