No no far from it and can see why you were slightly defensive as I wouldn't expect that in a million years.

Like I say simply being, just the extra 200 tickets is what was asked for and were turned down for them. It was just meant as s light hearted dig at first so apologies that that escalated over the course of 2 pages ha!

Anyway, in other news and not away tickets related, but we're down to the last 100 tickets for Wolves tomorrow. Presume they'll go with walk ups.
we've got this stupid rivalry going on at the minute for some reason, well it's because of when we sent you down and all those banners we had, but there seems to be this thing between us at the moment. We have a thread on our main forum which basically takes the Piss out of your lot and for some reason your forum, the mag can't stop doing write ups about us. Bit silly really but that's football I suppose. im not a fan of Newcastle if I'm honest and I like seeing you do shit, but there is no doubt it's a great football club with good fans like ourselves.

Wolves sell out 3200 for Newcastle but they can't muster 2k for Huddersfield and they were in better form when they played the latter. I do get it though because we will take over 5k to Barnsley midweek but we won't sell out up Newcastle on a Saturday, well not if we aren't doing well we won't. It's the new ground thing I suppose and Newcastle this season will be a popular away day.

Not to mention once we were already dead and buried we essentially dragged them down with us with the 0-0 at VP and took the piss out of them again.

Really
We always gave a 3k in the prem and 3k to you lot in the championship not sure where you got 2k from. Those rules definitely apply in the premiership within 100 or so anyway. They may not apply below
Really? Didn't think bottom of Bramall lane end held 3k, sure you know better than me though, so apologies if I'm wrong. Maybe right in PL but Forest definetly only give around 2k, so can't apply to the Championship.

Yes 3k mate it holds. Walkley says 10% or 2k in the football league.

Aye we do. There's still massive bitterness to this day about that and biggest regret of last season wasn't getting relegated, that I can handle, it was not being able to have the last laugh.

Just seemed really bitter and personal at the time with no motive as there was no Ill feeling at the time between the two Clubs. Chanting and general laughing you expect as footballs very tribal but having a pre arranged and premeditated demonstration of mockery with bed sheets and banners was as strange then as it is now.

It looked like a pretty special night - just not possible for me in mid week with work commitments sadly. By the sounds of it, it was the most accomplished performance by any NUFC team away from home in years, which isn't something I say lightly considering some of our abject away performances in recent years under Pardew etc.

I've seen the various videos/pictures and it looked amazing having the whole end like.

The performance by our team was certainly 'special'.

it is strange but I find Newcastle as a club easy to mock for some reason. I think it's your Fanbase more than anything, but that's not to say there is anything wrong with your Fanbase but you have this whole super fans image. It was funny last season when we denied you the last laugh as it was perfectly set up for you to take the piss out of us but that day we proper took the piss out of you again and that result probably sent you down again.

Anyway no hard feeling bud and I'm sure our two great clubs will be doing battle again in the prem.

I don't know about tomorrow but the Villa match is category A pricing, it will be £30 for Villa in the Gil Merrick.
that's decent. You will no doubt be charged £35 which is the highest price of an away ticket at villa this season.

'Kin hell, we've received an allocation of 5500 for Barnsley in October.

No less than expected. Pretty sure you sold out last two times you came. If you want more then you might get a third of West Stand too.

Aye? That's class. Can't remember the last time we received so many for a league game that's the only reason I'm shocked.

EDIT: Plus it's a Tuesday night and I thought taking 3000 to QPR on a weeknight was good, never mind that.

Was I? I was asking why we couldn't have an extra 200 tickets as their HOME attendance has been poor. Nothing against their away following which is great from what I see.

Don't see how they're linked?

Yeah, Leeds a few years ago last time a club requested more than the away stand, ended up bringing 6700. Sunderland brought over 7k not that long ago too.

Rather have 6k away fans than 4k empty seats so it's all good.

What on earth are you talking about. I meant I thought you was taking the piss at being shocked at getting 5.5k tickets at barnsley as surely you must of read on here that's how many villa have been allocated too. You've completely misunderstood me.

Another couple of good results you could be looking at 20k v villa week on Tuesday. I hope you keep it up tbh.

Did Newcastle not sell out 5.5k at Deepdale last time they were down here?

You only used to allocate 3.5k in them days I think. Shared stand I might be wrong like

I wouldn't say our home crowds are poor, it's just your home crowds are superb. You will probably end up taking more to Barnsley if you sell out that allocation quick ish. But saying that I'm sure Barnsley could easily shift most of their home seats if they continue their recent form.

all in good time brother, it's a marathon not a sprint. I'm sure we will get it right sooner rather than later. It will be a disaster if we don't.
