It looked fairly similar to what Wigan brought on Saturday maybe a little less. I'd guess 550ish.

2957 fans making the 566 mile round trip to QPR tonight.

Even at 0-0 and before kick off, you lot were the loudest fans I have seen at Loftus Road since Millwall back when Bircham was playing against them for the first time. Amazing support.

To a man, everyone was standing, plently of Newcastle colours and everyone was singing. Normally, you get top tier singing one side, then the other, then the lower tier, all doing different songs. But you lot were all singing the same songs at the same time and made it like a home game.

And you witnessed history. Our biggest home league defeat ever. Almost makes it worthwhile me going.

If Newcastle keep going the way they are they will take some huge numbers away. It's easy doing that when your winning though. It's like when Sunderland took 8 or 9k to Barnsley in the championship they were unbeaten in 10 games so you soon get fans jumping on the good times. We still have 500 left for Barnsley, but a win tonight and Saturday should shift them. If we continue our poor form I doubt it will sell out.

407 is more than I expected for a midweek in Sheffield at £27 or whatever it was.

It's your big day out, let's not draw comparisons. If you have less than us we did up there it'd be hilarious.

You'll shift another 500 before a week on Tuesday surely?

If we keep up our form it'll probably sell out in our ends as well. Should be a cracking night under the lights.

Hardly a big day out is it a fucking Tuesday night game at bramall lane. Expect there will be 800 or so as they've not been for a while if they had been recently it would be similar to yours last night at Hillsborough

Yes it is, they've been playing the likes of Braintree and Eastleigh in recent years, they'll be well up for playing you lot. They got Birmingham away in the cup a few years ago and were rubbing themselves silly over that.

Rovers have less than 250 usually on their midweek travels up north on a weeknight, the fact they'll probably bring 600 or so to you speaks volumes.

It looked like a pretty special night - just not possible for me in mid week with work commitments sadly. By the sounds of it, it was the most accomplished performance by any NUFC team away from home in years, which isn't something I say lightly considering some of our abject away performances in recent years under Pardew etc.

I've seen the various videos/pictures and it looked amazing having the whole end like.

two weeks until game and we have 3 games before that, so if results go our way we will sell out I would of thought. The fact that we have sold 5k for a midweek game 100 or so miles away at £30 a pop is good going anyway, especially as we are not doing that well. Results will determine whether we sell out.

Villa, the bar stewards, have turned down our request for additional tickets. Announced 2800 sold out today.

Tbf if you lot won't hand it out then fair do's.

Hearing we have 3.2K for Boxing Day but on principle we are giving you 2K in April.

that's our full allocation and always has been. Why should we give you more?

All it took was a quick search to see that that's not true as I was sure it was nearer 3000 (2972 to be exact). As we'd sell it without question I don't think it's beyond the pale to suggest we could get the extra 172 tickets considering your home attendances of late.

EDIT: Haven't you closed an entire tier of a stand also due to reduced attendences? Again surely it would only be a benefit for you to open that up if you haven't got room to give us an extra 172 tickets?

Don't really understand your point there? For league games I didn't think we gave much more than that to anyone so surely we are being hospitable as opposed to not handing it out?
