I think some geordies believe they belong in the bracket with man utd and Liverpool. They have phenomenal support I'll give them that, still obviously well behind those 2 clubs but I suppose if you're pulling 50k week in week out for years and years you'd probably expect to be challenging the top 6 or so in the prem. Most people have high expectations of there football clubs then others just become completely dellusional. Wednesdays manager had a bit of a dellusional moment the other day in an interview in our local paper saying they need to start winning for there 300k fans. Where he plucked that figure out from I'll never know , he probably reads one of those rediculous message boards that all our clubs have full of complete retards.

utter bollocks. They are way behind those two clubs in terms of history and support. They are a very well supported club yes but nowhere near as grand a club as Liverpool, United or a few others I could mention. we've got Norwich away a week or so before xmas on a Tuesday night. Live on Sky as well. Tickets were £40 but villa have knocked a fiver off them so it's £35 now. Fair play to the ones that go.
