£36 is atrocious and I don't blame any Millers fans for not attending. Look at their away record as well ffs. It read Won 0 Drawn 1 Lost 10 before the game. They've got 10 points.

Oh I'm sure Wednesday would sell out at Rotherham at £36, and probably will at ours at the same price. That just means they've got more stupid supporters than us.

Only because Chesterfield and no other South Yorkshire club has had to pay 36 quid with those other circumstances, i think only Sheff Utd would take over 2000 being in the same position imo. I bet Wednesday not taking over 2k to Leeds on a couple of occasions is not bad following though is it?
Your right Wednesday taking less than 2k to Leeds is not a bad following, its a fucking shit following. Even taking into account prices, Tv, shit seats, fear (for many) it is still shit, no arguments, but so was Rotherham's at Hillsborough on Saturday. Btw I in know way condone our pricing policy, its not right, if its £30 max in PL it should be £25 (at the most) max in Championship, club try to justify it by saying we have compete with clubs who receive parachute payments, that's where the problem starts, don't know how it will be rectified though.

Sold 2k for Brighton away on the 27th December, 12.30 ko and £30. Very surprised, as that is a good following. I honestly thought that we would take about 500, as we are shit and it is on Sky which makes us even shitter.

Quick update: As smiley has already said Leeds sold out the c.5,700 for Boxing Day at Preston; Sold the Villa allocation c.2,750 (night TV game on 29th) and we have been given the full end at Barnsley c.5,700 which will sell out for the 5.30 TV game in Jan.

(Cambridge away in cup allocation is 1,400)

Jose - thought about you in Sheff, on business yesterday - that Abbeydale Road South is reyt posh!

Not keen on Leeds, but can't argue that your away support is exceptional. Fantastic numbers as usual. As for us sold just 3k for Newcastle on boxing day on Tv (decent) and so far just under 2.9k for Preston on boxing day (below par) and 1.6k so far for Boro in cup. No way will we sell out Preston this time, expecting about 3.5k hoping around 4k disappointing after selling out a week or so in advance last season.

Passed through Dore yes.
Drove back to Leeds from Bakewell the scenic way!

Meanwhile your 3rd division neighbours have sold out out 3200 allocation at Bury. 8 sell outs in 12 away games. :2thumb::2thumb::2thumb:

Leeds have superb away support anyway but now they are in great form their numbers will be even better. We sold our allocation for wolves last week. I've been to wolves a few times and thought about giving it a miss but because it's so local I couldn't really miss it.

What this thread needs is more fawning over Leeds' away support.
you've got to respect it though. What I will say is that they are not the only club who could keep those numbers up.

we are fickle but in a different way. We still turn up in decent numbers however shit we are doing.

You're also one of the biggest clubs in the country with a good history so I should think you do.

Ok, I will talk about Bristol City's away support instead. It's err shit, but still slightly bigger (but less impressive) than Bristol Rovers at the moment.

He is correct though tbf
We don't pretend to be a really big club though BM. Our away support is relatively poor this season, I've no idea why. It doesn't ever bother me to be fair.
On another issue, it's about time you lot stopped messing about and got yourselves back up here.

I'm hoping this could finally be the year. Gonna be a couple of tough years to try and establish ourselves as a championship club again though.

Sold our for Brighton now. Not very often I am impressed with our away support, but fair play to those going. Just over 2k fans sitting there quietly and politely.

Offtopic but how is EEL doing for you? Seeing he scores a few for a defender.

He's doing well it would be nice to keep him for the season. Personally I don't think he's good enough for you're league anyway. He gets caught out more than he should but has been let off , he wouldn't get away with it in the championship. The goals are just a bonus but they have certainly been important ones. 2 94th min goals he's scored. Our fans absolutely love him too. He's only lost one game since coming too so I suppose you can say he has made a difference.

Imagine how much we've enjoyed the last few years then with the demise of our nearest and ahem 'dearest'?
The Blades should be up here, even if only to keep the forum busy with you lot.
Fair play to BM in appreciating the difficulty of the step up BTW.
