Can anyone recommend a good hotel for Newcastle? Never been so I have not got a clue about where is best to stay but I can imagine a lot of you have been and stayed.

The stadium is really well located within the city centre so you'll be pretty hard pressed to find somewhere that'll inconvenience yourself. I'd probably recommend the quayside for both pub/restaurants and locality to stadium.

He's doing well it would be nice to keep him for the season. Personally I don't think he's good enough for you're league anyway. He gets caught out more than he should but has been let off , he wouldn't get away with it in the championship. The goals are just a bonus but they have certainly been important ones. 2 94th min goals he's scored. Our fans absolutely love him too. He's only lost one game since coming too so I suppose you can say he has made a difference.

You coud probably keep him on a permanent basis if you want him. We have too many centre backs as it is, and with Mike Williamson coming back, Lambert seems to favour him as they were together years ago at Wycombe. Like you say he looks solid in L1, not so much in the Championship. Still good to see he's doing well.

I stayed at a place called Bentleys last time we were up there, they were good as gold. It was a cafe / B and B, if it's still there. Walking distance to the ground as well.
In all honesty, the cabs in Newcastle are so cheap, you could stay anywhere and it would still be easy to get around without spending a fortune.

I have gone for Surtees Hotel. 15 minute walk to the ground, 15 minute walk to Quayside and right near some bars/pubs. Which, after drinking all day, will mean nothing as I wont remember the game anyway.

You've done exceptional to be fair yet my pne mates can't stand grayson.
It's not always the greatest to watch (although it's much better this season) but anyone who doesn't think Grayson has done a phenomenal job is a bit of an idiot.

WOLVES: SOLD OUT. We are in dialogue with the local authorities re the West Lower Tier, we will announce any further developments #swfc

Cracking effort that. In a ground that holds 39,900 I bet that's still only about 30k due to the pathetic syp and whoever else is in charge of blocking seats off. More seats blocked off at bramall lane and Hillsborough than any other ground in the country.

I believe its under 32,000 in home areas, Wolves haven't sold many either so will be around 33 to 34k IF syp allow sales of west lower.

I think full capacity is lower anyway now, 3 rows of seats on kop at North stand side got removed last year to allow for a few more disabled and they did same on west lower with a couple of rows on south side a few years ago.

SYP segregation policy is laughable when you watch the Old Firm Derby or any other big Derby in the UK.

Leeds are charging us £37 for our game there on Friday 13th January. 7.45pm kick off, on Sky, no trains back.

Absolutely ridiculous.

I'm not looking forward to some of the prices if we do eventually ever come back up. Although I do think there will be a cap put in place for away fans in the championship within a couple of years as it's becoming a pretty rich league.

Wolves tickets went off sale yesterday for some bizarre reason. No updates on sales but I reckon it'll be a shite number, no trains running as ever on Boxing Day so I'm not going to bother despite getting my ticket a few weeks back.

There's never been trains running on boxing day but teams alway take there best followings on boxing day and the new years game. And the home teams get there biggest crowds. Over 25k at bramall lane on Monday and will probably be more on nye as northampton are bringing 2k.

Decent effort that from your lot, but there's not a chance we'll have a decent number at Wolves. Would be surprised if it's 1,500, we're appalling away from home this season.

1500 not that bad it doesn't take much for people to stop going when doing shit. There's only a few that carry on and keep up the good numbers. We're certainly not one of them.

Why would you buy a ticket and not go?
Only cost me £15, day would be costing me £50+ so saving money to not have a shite day to watch us lose at Molineux again.

What else you gonna fucking do. Get your sen to Wolves. £50+ for an away game I fucking wish , leave it another 2 or 3 years and you'll be spending £150+ on them.

Spend time with family I suppose.

Well, it'll be £15 ticket, £15 petrol to my mate, get some cider for the way up so £10 on that and then get something to eat when I'm there.

Most away games cost me more if I'm on the train obviously, but would have been driving to Wolves.
