He left you to go to blackpool on a free. And revamping the ground isn't throwing money at climbing the leagues is it. Itv digital went bust in 2002 you didn't go into admin till 06/07 season so you better answer your last question yourself

Yeah exactly and threw money at him, so signed for them as oppose to resigning for us.

Revamped stadium, massive wages in leagues 1 and 2. Oystons must have spent £30m+ over the years.

We went into admin twice. The second time we had never fully recovered from the first and Ken Booths son was charging us £250k a week to stay at millmoor and sent us into admin again. Rotherham United have never overspent in regards to playing budget ever.

Nice try.

Our away support has always been average so not really a great surprise. Think we've averaged more than you the last few years though.

See a lot of this big club, Leeds, Wednesday, Forest malarkey but when times get hard* their home support dwindles on tin-pottery levels. 15k at the city ground the other week, 2 euro cups, aye, nice one.

*Hard = mid table in the second division. Or at worst promotion candidates in the third.

Hard times or just a owner alot of people wont support.

Shut up you tit, we had more than half your home gates at West Brom last season and we'd played there in the league a few years before.

A few years before you played them in the league? West Brom have been in the Premiership for the last 7 years. Half of your lifetime, little boy.

JJH talking shit again.

Yep, 09/10 season when Rotherham were still in League Two and getting 3,000 at home. Happier times.

it will be 2800 then. Cardiff only got allocated 2500 though at our place for some reason.
Strange, I thought you'd be giving 6/7k this season but didn't realise you were selling season tickets in the tier above the away end.

The away end at villa is at the side in the Doug Ellis stand. Away fans have about a quarter of that stand lower and upper. Tbf we could of made the away end bigger this season because a few clubs would of filled it but why add to the problem we have of playing at home. This season has improved but in a way I'm glad we kept the allocation as it was.

Yeah, if you don't need the revenue then there's no reason to I suppose, same as what we do. We'd have had a big number there on a Saturday, our fans are well up for it. Newcastle the month after which will be a good laugh despite the fact we'll get smashed.

You can't drink, how will Newcastle be a laugh?

See if the massive Yokels can sell more than little old Rotherham for that one. We'll be confirming a sell out tommorow.

Yes I can, you have no idea.

Well if you're selling out then how could we possibly manage more? Think before you speak.

We will take one of the lowest away followings out of anyone this season up to Newcastle. Monday night on tv at a ground we have been going to for the last how many years. It will be funny though hearing the Geordies saying we are a shit club with shit fans blah blah blah.

We've all had shit owners mate, doesn't necessarily mean you stop supporting the team.
Not living in Nottingham yet, im not really the right one to say they should. Would i go? Yes, but i do understand why people are staying away.

But only the clubs in the PO places have more home fans, so its fine for me.

I am not looking forward to Newcastle away like most fans seem to.It just highlights the sheer gulf between the two teams. Depressing. And I will be sitting a quarter of a mile from the pitch up in the gods guessing what the fuck is going on at the other end.
And we will get dicked too. Then drive home 4 hours.
I am looking forward to Wednesday away more for some reason.

That's weird as fuck.

You'll be disappointed by Hillsborough, facilities on a par with you lot in Leppings lane end.

Tbf Hillsborough has a lot more history than sjp and I don't just mean for the wrong reasons. The away end is a toilet though but it's still a cracking stadium. Sjp is also impressive as well.

Fair enough. Think it's more about liking old fashioned grounds. I love bramall lane too.
I did like the New York stadium. Steep stands too. Helps when you get 3 points.
Went there for the stadium opening. We lost 3-0. Think fatty was in charge then.

Booths son was charging 13 Million quid a year? Surely that's wrong, no wonder you went into administration if he was. Back on subject. Great numbers from Plymouth at Anfield, I know it is their cup final, but still 8.5k wow.

Exactly, although it only took 4 months for it to cripple us financially.
