I've done some deep deep deep (did I mention deep) analysis on this and I have come to this conclusion on the reasons for this:

Championship teams are not as good as Premier League teams. :animatedf:

Your welcome. :bg1:

Yes, but we're just as shite down here as we were up there bar the past couple of seasons!

We've shifted 1550 for Fulham so far on Saturday. A lot of clubs (even northern ones) tend to sell or nearly sell their allocations down there but that's not bad at all for us.

Cardiff only sold 1,700 for Saturday, not a bubble trip. Pathetic yet again.

Know a few that aren't going to Wednesday purely on price merit. I'd of gone but I'm travelling back from Lanzarote Saturday and won't find out the score until landing in Manchester...
2500 sold @ 13 30 today should reach 3000 if there's potd

At home it's either cat B (£20) or cat A (£30) for away fans. With you having a large away fan base it makes sense to charge you cat A when you'd sell out easily. Especially when we're only giving clubs 1,900 max now.

The home crowd is absolutely pathetic. The away following I don't think is that bad. Thursday night on sky is a joke and they're doing shit. Reading costing me on my bet too the shithouses

At least some fans turned up.. I don't think any of the players did.

I cannot explain how shit we were.

I know the weather played a factor, but that home attendance did surprise me a lot too. We average a fairly consistent 17k, and that must be one of our lowest attendances in the past 10 years.

I thought that we would have taken more, but looks less with the rest of the stand being basically empty. One of the most boring games in recent history yet they stick with putting it on Sky. I think we sold 1163 I read somewhere, but I can see people being put off by the 0 degree weather. I still think it is a decent enough following for a team that recently lost to Blackburn at home and only just over coming a 7 match losing streak.

Thought we played to our game plan beautifully though, compact and looked half decent on the break.

I see Brandon Comley came on in the 92nd minute for 1 minute and now he have him back on loan for the rest of the season.
So his entire football played for QPR this season will be a total of 1 minute, surely some sort of record that!

Tbh I thought he might stay, I was very surprised seeing that he has gone on loan again. Reports are that he is a talent. How is he doing for you?

800 Derby fans in Leeds tonight. Jesus..

£37.
On tv.
Friday night.

How many should we take?
How does it compare to other teams at Leeds this season? Just asking like.

Really good, one of our most consistent players and always puts a shift in.
Much too good for League 2 IMO so delighted to have him for another few months.

Think that might be our lowest league attendance this century, very odd. I can't vouch for the weather up in Reading, but it was fucking appalling down here, so I'm not surprised if people decided to stay in and watch it on Sky.

Lowest home attendance for us since February 2004, and looks like our first sub-13k attendance since then.

Weather had to have played a factor, I live about 45-50 mins away from Reading and conditions were terrible. My normal 20 minute drive home from work took almost an hour. Not sure what it was like in Reading, but I reckon the fact that the game was on TV may have helped push it into going ahead.

Cracking effort tbf

Before the season started i didn't think we'd have a problem selling out at Newcastle but being in the position we're in now with 13 points adrift off safety without an away win all season im a little surprised we're gonna sell out.
