As ive said before our away support is members only so never goes to general sale, we have 40000 members so every single club in the country has a bigger pool of people to pick from than us, there are only two clubs in the country that never have general sale and that's Leeds and Man Utd. if we had the option of general sale we would sell out every away game.

This doesn't surprise me as your national fanbase is pretty massive, it would be interesting to know how many of those members are from the Leeds area... well, not that interesting but about as interesting as it gets on a thread discussing away support on an internet football forum.

it would have been if it was Middlesbrough, it seems

amazing plastic support them

2 years ago they averaged about 1k iirc, funny how a bit of exciting team building does to you

anyway regardless of anything else the best away fans are the fans that have had to endure shite for years, to me Middlesbrough are nowhere near the best

i'd say Leeds, Wednesday, Forest, Wolves

thats maybe not the best order in terms of numbers but it's purely down to taking consistent followings despite seeing no joy, Wolves are 4th because of their recent PL days, Derby in there too somewhere but again had recent success compared to the other 3

purely FL too before people mention Everton etc

I bet ours is better than derbys over the last 10 years. Also i bet its not far behind or possibly in front of forests and wolves too not sure if anyones has the figures but there will not be fuck all in it. And were shitter than the lot of em

2421 according to DerbyPolice on Twitter. Poor in my opinion, no excuse not to sell all 2900 tickets given. Really surprised with how few home fans were there. Gary Rowett has them on the up and they still don't turn up, very poor from Birmingham. Oh and I agree about the songs that are sung by our fans nowadays, fucks me off that we don't sing our original songs from the 70's and 80's and stick with the generic shite that all other teams sing.

Ipswich tweeted this...

@Official_ITFC: ATT: 10,810 (960 Town fans) #itfc

But the attendance was 12,330 so not sure how reliable that is...

Fans drift away ~~ especially when you suffer 3/4 years of no investment, ~~ {with the major shareholder/investor banged up in Stanley Prison, on 'money-laundering crimes' ~~ 3/4 years of Bosmans and freebies ~~~ One year on the Europa League and...yes...A League Cup win in that period.} ~~~ Fans drift away when you have Lee Clark as a Manager. If they are on TV in a pub, wherever, disenchanted supporters will go there rather than their ground.

BUT ~~~ they are coming back since Rowett took over, Ernst & Young are running the parent company and removing, button-by-button, the influence and control of our disgraced major-shareholder.

That Rams' Fans nearly sold out their allocation for a TV match on a Friday night ~~~ brilliant imo ~~ and under those same conditions~~~~~~ TV & Friday night~~~ St Andrews had their biggest AWAY following for some time.
And their biggest Home Attendance for some time~~ outside of Last-Home & Cups.

Derby, like Leeds are a one-city team. A huge catchment area with no alternatives, so they will pull in the fans logistically.
Charlton bus them in from outlying areas, Derby don't have to.

I would not be surprised at a 19,000 plus gate for a Friday night, on TV game. With nearly 3,000 visistors.

Do you provoke for replies, or are you so down on the Rams' supporters that you ignore Stats?

Sad man.

Leeds allocated 5,000 for MK Dons in September.

(Aside: Leeds still not sold out the 2,300 allocation for Saturday at Derby - Leeds Rhinos at Wembley will have some affect)

Got to love Fulham, they gave the FL 857 (as per the FL twitter, so you'd assume that's where they got it)

Meh, cheers pal.

I'm going to feast my eyes on this for a few more minutes as our next two away games (Middlesbro then Burnley on a Tuesday night) will trigger our inevitable slide to the bottom of this table. Mind you, if the London clubs don't improve then we might not be unchallenged for the wooden spoon. #doingthechampionshiponashoestring

Each club (barring Brum) has played 2 away fixtures, it's fairly self explanatory....

Quality support there from the best supporters in the country, Middlesbrough.

Ours looks pretty horrendous, but that'll be bumped up by 3k at Brum.
