What is Birmingham's average if you add the 2,508 we have sold for Bristol City?

This has surprised me.

1,922 (50 REMAINING) LOWER TIER TICKETS PRICED

For our game away to Norwich. They aren't a new team for us, neither of us have anything to play for. I was expecting another sub 1000 following.

Never knew there was two tiers in the away end at Norwich?

Don't think ours is that bad a average to say we ain't won an away game all season. Still never thought i'd ever see us finishing below Burton though in the averages but fair play to them they've had a decent season.

Only 2,000 tickets will be allocated to anyone coming to the Madejski in the play-offs.

Rumours that Fulham are only going to give 2500 too.

2,789 sold out for Newcastle, the absolute maximum we were going to be given as it's their own fans' big party for limping over the line with a billion pound squad.
Yep. Thought it was hilarious they were all hero worshipping him last week so I politely told them he'd failed by not winning the league with the most expensive squad ever at this level. They didn't particularly like that.

We've never not sold out Wembley, even in the 80s when we were far smaller. You really don't get that much there, like 32k at the most. Most clubs at this level could sell that amount.

We aren't Hull City... who had plenty of empty seats for a FA Cup semi final..

40k for the PO final. Let's see if you sell it if you make it then.

We sold out in 2011, no reason why we wouldn't again.

Sold out our 32k allocation for FA Cup semi final in 2015 too

If you could well out home areas I'd understand it but come on your support despite being top six this year has been poor

Hull's support at last year's playoff final was pathetic. However you're right you aren't Hull, they generally travel in better numbers and are usually far noisier than Reading fans. You also have to remember compared to Hull you are more or less on Wembley's doorstep. Just think it's ironic Reading fans, knocking Hull's travelling support.

I think all of them would sell it other than Huddersfield.

I don't understand why our support hasn't picked up this season. Our home average is very similar to the last two seasons when we were fighting relegation (17.7k, in comparison to 17.0k and 17.2k).

17k appears to be our level when you take away day trippers that come along for the Prem. Perfectly reasonable for a club our size.

Why was it pathetic, it was there 4th trip to Wembley and they still took about 10k more than what they were getting at home.

I used Hull as an example as we both get very similar attendances, and have both increased fanbase substantially from the 70s/80s.

I think the distance is largely irrelevant, 1 hour or 3 hour journey, for a play-off final a fan who wants to go, will go. Games like that show the full potential of a club's fanbase.

Of course it is relevant would you take 40k to old Trafford , the answer is no you wouldn't be even close. Millwall took about 50k to wembley 1st visit, they took about 20k to old tafford for an fa cup semi, it makes a big difference especially after the 1st visit.

Well we're both just speculating. I admit there *could be some drop-off, but I am confident that if we were to play at Old Trafford we would sell out the allocation there (which would probably be only 30k as smaller than Wembley).

Our drop-off would be nowhere near as severe as those you mention for Millwall, which also seem very strange - 50k seems a lot!

Sorry it was 44k. They've not sold anything close in there other visits and would take half that up north.
