I'll settle for that if the same happens again in 6 years what happened 6 years after the 83/84 season. Days like that I don't think it can get any better.
You wouldn't know pal!

We've never not sold out Wembley, even in the 80s when we were far smaller. You really don't get that much there, like 32k at the most. Most clubs at this level could sell that amount.

Sold out in 1995 against Bolton at the Old Wembley, easily over 40,000 there.

Great day, that.

Wish I grew up as a Bradford or Huddersfield fan where they may aswell print their season tickets on the back of a cereal box. So cheap.

£199

We usually sold 9000 season tickets, but this was reducing a bit every year, so the increased crowds mean we're making more money from the reduced prices. We didn't rely on this happening though, Hoyle said it was possible due to the extra TV money this season. Any club that is increasing their prices should be demanding to know why.

I love that. And then your team plays better in front of a crowd that are up for it. At QPR, we are charging £600 a season and then the manager/players/owners wonder why our fans are moody as fuck and we only sold out once this season.

Heard that all the play-offs teams have an agreement in place that no more than 2k away tickets will be sold? Is this true?

Yep seems to be the plan, we were told Brighton would only offer us 2K last season so reciprocal allocation was placed, not that they needed it, Fulham won't want the away end rammed with 5/6K so can see their point of view.

Fulham away at 5.30 on a Saturday, playoff games don't come any better than that. Bit of a rush for 20.55 though

Jumping ahead slighty, but doubt I would get a ticket for Fulham (A) if that was the case. 2,000 is less than our usual allocation in the league.

Fulham capping makes no sense though, as they won't sell out the home end yet alone the neutral end so it will still be full of away fans. Unless they actually close the rest of the stand.

I doubt any of them will sell the home ends out , Wednesday may do that's it

We might get close if we are still in the tie and at home 2nd leg

Doesn't seem to be a big thing no more for some clubs. 15k at Bradford last night lowest of the season 12k at millwall. We got some poor crowds too when we've been in them in league one, derby and hull last year I don't think we're full. Personally can't see it being full at any of the 4 this season either in the championship.

A Bradford fan mentioned elsewhere that it was a truer reflection of their crowds, reckons the cheap STs sees folks buy em and miss a few games so despite the 18K average it was never like that inside the stadium.

Huddersfield will sell out the home leg in the main, not sure on our sales but going well at present and getting asked for IDs as it's not a free for all.

You probably will just about sell out, 15 years of pure shite makes people desperate for a bit of success. How many is a sell out are you still blocking seats of between your own fans?

Ask me another. Depends how the wind blows and SAG. Sunday should give an indication if they've let us have more.

They allowed us to split the lower tier so you might be ok.

Pretty sure we'll sell out especially if the 2nd leg is at home. First leg at home to Reading with a Sunday noon kick off, maybe not.

Huddersfield is apparently the lowest earning town in the UK, and I'm sure Bradford's not far behind. Finding £200 in less than a month is not spare change.

We should sell out, as it'll pull in a few thousand extra fans.

Only been about 2-3k fans off selling out a few home games this season, so no reason why we couldn't get that many extra for a game of this importance, unless we are already 5-0 down after the first leg.

You might be at home 1st leg

Like many Reading fans, I hope so, think we would do better playing at home first given our home record, but I just can't see it happening. We would have to get worse results than both Sheffield Wednesday and Huddersfield, whilst having the easiest (on paper) fixture.
