I would imagine we'll give them a cut down allocation anyway, just like Man U had. 2,680 I think it was.
That’s exacrly how much we’ve given them

Why did you cut United's allocation?
We gave them the minimum we are allowed to, to allow our own fans the chance to go to the game. Means that there’s less tickets sold due to segregation but around 1k more for our fans.

As Jon says, we gave them what we had to then put more of our own in the same stand. It's not like we couldn't sell them to be fair.
Fair enough. What you reckon to them? I've always rated them the best set of away fans.

They were loud to be fair, even when we scored at the end. They might get a fair bit of stick but they're more than decent away from home.

Always thought they're the best in the country but couldn't hear them much from up the other end, was noisy there so drowned them out a bit.

Surprised the away end completely scattered at the end, loads of our fans ran straight over to them and I know they've been involved in a fair bit of trouble over the years.

It's the same at the back of the holte end. If there is any kind of atmosphere, it's hard to hear the away fans, but if you do, then you know they are loud. I relocated to the north stand lower, so I get the full noise from the away fans. United always sell out, they have the best songs by a mile, and it's a proper away end without kids and women. They look the part too. They have plenty of troublemakers who follow them away from home.

Easily the best in the country vocally, they're very very original too.

Must have been hard to hear them above all the bandwagons

Half of Man Utd supporter base are made up of tourists and day trippers with half and half scalves. Probably youtube'd the songs the day before the match so they could get involved.

That's the way football is now. Look at all the top clubs, a lot of them are fly by night supporters. You really think all those fans at West Ham support West Ham? Do they fuck, the novelty will wear off. I've heard City fans say, that they preferred it when they were shit. The thing is, united could get relegated, and they would still have 60k at the games, and there would still be 15-20k fans applying for away tickets. The other season when they weren't doing that well under moyes, they had 10k applications for a midweek cup game at Shrewsbury.

Forest, not surprisingly is sold out.
Allocation for Sheffield United, is 2250, at £32 a ticket.

Could you of sold many more?
Yeah very easily, every fucker I know asked me for tickets. Unless they were proper fans I told them no I wouldn't be trying. 70 tickets made general sale and went in a minute.

I'm not, our record against lower league teams is shite.

Yep you lost to us at villa park when you were prem and us league one. We've got Ipswich away so I suppose we could win either way I don't think our game will go ahead as scheduled

33% more than your net home average, not that any other club wouldn't have done the same mind.

Gonna say every club in the division would of sold the ground out other than Sunderland and even they may of done.

And the rest mate, the amount of United fans in Manchester we could've probably sold it twice over.

You're right, 35k in vs Arsenal at yours a few years ago as well iirc. Why is it that you could have that a few years ago but now barely 30k?

Max inside the stadium is under 33K now due to our ridiculous SAG and SYP.

We get 30K for big games but average 26.4K this season after 7 wins in 24, we've had 3 home games at 3pm this season mate which never helps, think it is 4 televised games too.
