It isn't down to cash, the tv monies received would cover it and the fact refunds are rarely processed for missing fans are more likely. It also happened at Swansea away in the cup and was ignored by the club. Again I doubt 5k then was an issue.

I wouod have thought Swansea away was more down to the weather than gaining priority points

We'd sold well on the way to 1,000 tickets after 2 days of sale then world got out the match was on sky, so wouldn't be surprises if ticket sales fell off the cliff. If we do take less than1,000 now it will be a damning indictment of Skys decision. A lot were saying they'd changed their minds about going as a result.

Common misconception, not Sky’s decision. It’s the EFL’s decision, they’ll deserve the blame.
