Everyone should sell out Brentford this season surely?

No excuses , that was a poor following, worst of the season so far, but yes I could not believe we managed to get a result out of that, I think Leeds not being able to kill teams off at home, look at the forest, Swansea and Derby games, they had chance after chance in all of them games and ended with 2 points, that's the reason that Leeds will not get promoted again.

Thanks for the wee bit of fishing, I'll take it on though.

You've highlighted three games we have already had this season (and allegedly not taken the expected number of points) as your basis of us not getting promoted...

...and yet...Leeds are sat at the top of the table - you'd be very happy to swap I suspect.

This is a better Leeds team than last season: a year more experienced, more belief, a year of consistence with both players and Manager and replaced Pontus and Roofe with better.

We will be very much in the mix - a genuinely different outfit and a very good side. The Stats back it up and over 40+ games that's going to show.

Derby were absolutely murdered on Saturday for the majority of the game but you're right we didn't kill it off - we played catch and release - imagine what it'll be like when it does click.

(...feel like I must have had some of your whisky, cheese or blue smarties now I've read that back...definitely off for a lie down)

Preston only sold out for tonight an hour ago, must’ve split the away end with City for that to be the case surely?

Why? It's a 3rd round league cup tie Fair play for even selling out. Hardly the best supported club either to be fair pne.

Nah, City will have the full end. As Blademan said it’s hardly a huge game. The fact they have sold out is impressive .

It is a big game for them, as it would be for any side that haven’t played in the top flight for a number of years, and they’ve only got 18k home seats to sell.

That’s pretty poor, assumed they’d have been snapped up straight away.

It's not a big game, it's a free hit at a shock result but Saturdays game is a bigger game by far.

We're not a big team who can pull in 20-30k a week home fans. I think it's only about 16.5k home fans that will be there and 5.5k City.

Yet you won’t sell out the home ends Saturday, so I think it’s a big game for you.

It just surprises me as many years ago Preston had seasons of averaging over 30k, thought you’d still have enough casual followers to sell out that number against City fairly quickly.

Didn’t you sell out the Millennium against West Ham as well?

Thanks for the reply, and yes I would swap places with you, but there is a long way to go, and in my opinion Leeds will be in the play offs, fancy WBA to win it, and in the end I still feel Derby will be top 6 or not far off, would love to play Leeds in the play off final this season, now that would be a game and a half, Rooney with a last minute winner to really piss you lot off, but I will admit, you do play some lovely football at times, but Bamford is not the answear for a 20 a goalseason striker, he could cost you big time.
