Don't know if it was from the same night but there is video footage surfacing on social media of Tom Huddlestone filming Mason Bennett spewing his guts out.

It does, not sure what the language states in the contracts that Mason Bennett and Tom Lawrence have signed with Derby but I'd have thought that this incident would be deemed breach of contract and both could be sacked without any recompense.

All good thanks JJ(no longer)Mod, I'm actually down your neck of the woods a week on Saturday since we're playing Bristol Manor Farm in the FA Cup.

What makes this so much worse than just your usual case of drink driving is that they made the decision to stay out drinking when the rest of the team had gone home, they made the decision to decline a lift home in cars provided by the club and if the rumours are true, made the decision to get into their cars to race. That can’t can’t be classed as one terrible mistake, that is 3 conscious decisions that could have killed someone.

In my opinion, nothing but jail time for these cretins will suffice.

No reason why Bennett and Lawrence shouldn't do some time, judging by the video of Mason they're hardly only just over the limit.

Disappointed most with Keogh, should have known better. Not gonna quite take the high ground like some are but he's a professional sportsman who should have nipped this in the bud early doors. I'm sure I'll fuck up big time at some point but I won't have the same sort of responsibility he has.

Don't think Cocu could have been dealt a shitter hand.

There’s got to be some sort of breach, I seriously think with the way this is escalating they may well have their contracts terminated. Those players are worth multi millions of pounds to Derby but for the bad press it’s bringing to Derby is it worth standing by them?

That’s a good cup tie mate, we’re at home that day as well. Where are you going to be drinking? I like Manor Farm, nice set up there.

The worst part is they were offered lifts home as well. It’s not as if they’re short on a few quid to sort their own taxi anyway, but the whole story is just fucking baffling. How not one of them thought about stopping the idea is insanity and they ought to be thankful they only hurt themselves and not some other innocent people on the road at that time of night.

I know somebody a few people exactly like what you’ve just said though. When I go to raves/events there’s a kid I know who gets off his face and then drives home afterwards, he’s offered me a lift several times but I’ve never accepted it. Rather just pay the extra few quid and get home normally.

I hope so, will send out the right message.

Only way you can punish people in their position. What on earth is a paltry fine to a Championship footballer?

You get prison time for drink driving anyway, most get community service and a fine but if they've been racing and way over the limit they will get time, I couldn't give a fuck what job they do, they dont deserve more punishment than the man who works in Tesco but from what I can gather so far it's a couple of month in the nick, if not 300 hours which is as bad tbf.

No point is there? you could have all the discussions in this sub forum in one thread like they do in the PL forum and it wouldn’t get messy in it.

Our ticket office is fucking horrendous.

Was speaking this morning about Luton tickets going on sale in our group chat and was saying it'll be 10am as usual so I'll be able to get on at work....

At 9:40 the club post news, but say they'll be on sale in 20 minutes. Ridiculously short notice, I had a meeting at 10 typically so had to get one of my mates to book mine.

2 hour sell out to STHs despite the short notice, lots who intended on going won't have even been aware they were on sale though.

This must be what it feels like to support Leeds....

No way of making this game via train either, only train that morning gets into Euston 3 minutes after kick off.

Absolute piss take. I'm one of them, 17 of us had sorted train tickets. Looking like it's a day on the piss in London instead then.

Good choice. You can watch Charlton vs a smelly northern team every few weeks or so, Texans only come to Wembley once every half dozen years or more.

Bristol City (A) tickets sorted for next Saturday - first game of the season for me. I'll be dropping JJH a call to organise our ruck before the game, if we don't take the streets of Bedminister before that.
Nice one pal, I'll give M Hutson a call to rally the troops and advise some landlords to border up their windows :)
