I didnt ignore it, it was the Leeds match that was advertised. Shall we call a truce. I've got a film to watch. :)
We charge some horrible prices but some good uns think Forest was £25 too, also my ST on the North works out at £21 a game.

Enjoy the film fella.

Well said Miller. It's a matter of principle. I'll be at Brentford Tuesday night, £41.50 coach, £25 ticket (which is a disgrace), night off work, but there's no way I'll be at Leeds which would work out much cheaper. Until fans start boycotting the likes of Leeds, they will continue to charge what they like.
It will never happen though. We had a big 20 is plenty campaign the other month. The same week, we had over 10,000 at Man U in the League Cup, adults paying 45 and 55 quid a pop.
£41.50 for a coach?!?!?!?!

Supporters Club coach. The club like to rip us off at every opportunity. No alternative transport unfortunately.

Leeds have sold the Wednesday allocation of 3,100 and enquiring about more but not forthcoming. £36 is do-able as train cheap. So is spoons beer!

£25 is what everyone pays at GP. A lot cheaper than a lot of other places. Don't really see it as a disgrace?

It's a disgrace MagpieBee because the price of a TOP FLIGHT ticket should be about 12 quid. Read the Taylor report and add inflation.
It may not be as much of a disgrace as what other clubs charge but it's still a disgrace.

I repeat, does that make it right? You can watch top flight football in Germany for 12 quid, why not here? Because our clubs are run by morons who have allowed agents and players to rape the shit out of the game. And we still turn up and pay whatever they charge.

Can you though? I am sure Blackburn, Wigan used to be stupidly cheap and I am sure Man City offer dirt cheap seats as well.

Dont get me wrong, most prices are stupidly high, I agree with you.

Blackburn's, Wigan's, Bradford's and Blackpool's season tickets are still dirt cheap. Huddersfield are also offering cheap tickets now, think a few of their games over Christmas cost a tenner to get in, with cheap season tickets announced for next season. More clubs need to follow suit but it's hard if yout still want to compete, for all Bradford's good crowds, they're still a mediocre League One side.

The FA need to allocate more of that TV cash to lower league clubs with the guarantee that it is used to subsidise tickets.

The issue with English football is it's overpriced in every single aspect, ticket prices, player wages, shirt costs.....

I went to Dortmund this year when they played Augsburg and went in the Yellow wall and it cost £50 through a third party, should have been 16 euro.

Could get a beer instantly for 3 euro, no waiting about at a bar, you pre load a card and pay with that at one of the dozens of vendors.

Everything about matchday there is brilliant.

Jose - looks like you have given us a block or two downstairs now - though Leeds aren't pushing it at all.

Ah I see. I agree with you on that. I think as a club we do pretty well, a child season ticket (back when I was one) was only £30 for 23 games (think it's £70 now). Our pricing is pretty competitive compared to other clubs in England, and very good compared to most other London clubs.

But, I am completely on your side, it should all be a lot cheaper.

I hear that at Dortmund, they give you free wifi, but during the game they turn it off. The brewies wanted to up the cost of a drink as well, and Dortmund said no, it stays the same or we will use someone that will sell for that price and they still use that company now.

I would love to go there, just to see what it is really like. I just need QPR to get into Europe, easy.

Standard of football?

I went to a 5-1 game, so was really entertaining. Atmosphere is second to none.

I stayed in Dusseldorf for the weekend and got the train there (10 euro), not a lot in Dortmund, I'd reccommend doing that.

Instead of one live game in Germany they jump from ground to ground when anythign happens, more exciting Soccer saturday.

Unbeliveable place, when QPR get knocked out of FA cup, use a spare weekend to go.

Went while I was in the area once. Düsseldorf and Cologne are great, as SERNWA says not a lot in Dortmund. Football was great, stadium was great. Atmosphere was great but it's more of a one off in Germany. Standard overall of atmosphere is much better here.
