I hear that at Dortmund, they give you free wifi, but during the game they turn it off. The brewies wanted to up the cost of a drink as well, and Dortmund said no, it stays the same or we will use someone that will sell for that price and they still use that company now.

I would love to go there, just to see what it is really like. I just need QPR to get into Europe, easy.

If you book early enough, you can get a return flight from Stanstead to Bremen for £70, an overnighter in Bremen, the train to Dortmund is E14 each way and travel in Dortmund is free on matchdays.
I've been about 20 times and it's incredible. The whole day is about the match experience. They close roads so that the visiting support can do a 'fans march' from Dortmund central station to the WFS including stopping in a dirty great tunnel. Once the away fans are cleared, Dortmund supporters do the same 'march' and there are 1000's and 1000's marching. It's an awesome experience and an incredible sight!
You HAVE to do the WFS, you just have to!

I know it's FA Cup but Cardiff's attendance at home to Shrewsbury today was 4782.

In comparison Bristol City just across the bridge took 5000+ away fans to West Brom.

Sorry but Cardiff's support is atrocious.

Bristol were away to a PL club and Cardiff were at home to bastard Shrewsbury.

Hardly worth comparing.

Of course it is.

Cardiff is a huge city, the capital of Wales, and the only club in the city. To only manage 4k+ fans is awful. I only mentioned Bristol City because they took more fans away to WBA than the entire crowd at Cardiff.

Don't think it's fair having a pop at Cardiffs support myself, given their current & recent off field shit with a mental foreign owner whose waltzed in and tried completely changing the identity of the club etc.

It's the FA cup, yeah Shrewsbury isn't an appealing fixture but 4k home fans is awful. It's Cardiff were talking about not some bog standard L2 side.

They didn't mind all the above when it meant PL. They took it now they are dealing with the consequences. Felt sorry for them at the start, but after letting it happen I can't help but laugh.

Still could sign any player we want mind you.

To which they embraced completely until they started losing a few games... Only a very small minority were against the rebrand from the start, coming from a Cardiff fan I knew who stopped going altogether.

Picture of their fans at one of the home games when all was going well under Tan.

Probably just Premiership fan boys from the area. You get them at all premiership clubs. They probably 'support' someone else now.

I find it hard to believe that die hard Cardiff fans just rolled over and accepted everything that was going on.

Historically they haven't been brilliantly supported, so 5k or whatever for a televised FA Cup game against Shrewsbury is par for the cause, I reckon.

Judging by the low away attendance I'd guess that game was in the Championship during their promotion season. Hard to tell but looks like the kit is Brighton maybe, so no Premiership fanboys then.

You might find it hard to believe but 90%+ of them are in red. Their fanbase didn't just roll over, they embraced it. I also wouldn't have expected it from them, but it's what happened. And still would be if they didn't start doing badly on the pitch. Unfortunately they still gain wide support from the rest of the footballing world who don't realise they are pathetic sell outs.

Fair fucks. Sounds similar to our good friends down the M55.

Still, I fail to see why 5k for a 2nd(?) round FA cup, televised game against Shrewsbury is being labelled as pathetic?

It's not as if they've historically pulled in brilliant attendances.

3rd round, don't forget us Championship lot get a free pass :bg:

Yeah, its a pretty shit attendance considering what they were getting a couple of years ago but I wouldn't really slate them for it, we only had about 7k against Donny in the same round last season.

What annoys me is when they claim a boycott and think they're incredible for standing up to Tan, like against Colchester last year. Could've done it 3 years earlier lads but were all too busy rimming him then.

Don't blame them to be honest! Had a look at their forum after the Colchester game, and they were saying they made Colchester look like Barca :err:

We've been given 3000+ for QPR away. Didn't realise that the away end held that much!

I heard Shrewsburys top boys had the Soul Crew youth on their toes all over town.
They tried taking Cardiffs main end, but were beaten back by riot police & dog handlers.

They had to make do with taking their main boozer afterwards instead.

That bloke bottom right barely even got out of his seat!
I saw that! I thought he was a home fan until he jumped for our second goal. maybe he was looking after his little 'un next to him and couldn't help himself? It did look a bit odd to be fair.
