No specific number given for some reason but there were "750+" barnsley at QPR according to our Twitter page. Presold 701.

4400 sold so far Preston in a couple of weeks, went on sale to members on Saturdays. 2700 sold for Fulham the week after as well.

100 tickets left for Cardiff, went on sale this morning and doesn't even look like it's going to make general season ticket priority. Only on sale to season ticket plus holders.

So stupid from Cardiff this. City fans will travel over regardless and a few in the home ends. Will cause more hassle

Nowt to do with us, SWP finally had enough of your "mob" smashing up empty pubs and launching flares into the home ends.

Didn't stop us giving you 3,600 that you failed to sell when you were launching fireworks into our side of the concourse at half time last season and had thousands well up for it after the game though.

Funny that. You were let out at the same time as our fans this season and your lovely fans repaid that faith by chucking bottles and coins over the gate outside the ground. Many of whom were children walking out.

Just giving your fireworks back to you that's all that was, should be thanking us really.

Make the gate higher.
Something about glass houses and stones comes to mind....
Us Cardiff thugs prefer bricks to stones, can crack open a skull much easier.
That’s fucking tragic coming from you lot.
What can I say? It's not the eighties anymore.

'all clubs gain support with a bit of success but the Molineux ‘faithful’ have come out in droves'

Our crowds have gone up but don't think we've had any more 'come out the woodwork' than would be expected, especially considering how dreadful we have been the past two seasons. We had very good season ticket prices this year as well as a good marketing campaign (rebate if we sold 17k by May) and sold more than we ever have before outside the premier league. We wouldn't be selling out every week like we are now but crowds would have increased even if we didn't have the season we are having.

I stand by my comments.

I just don't buy that we have anymore 'gloryhunters' as you put it than anyone else would in our position. All clubs see a rise in crowds when winning the league but most clubs don't go from finishing 14th and 15th to top. We've averaged 25k+ plenty of times in the recent past.

Most clubs don't circumvent the system like Wolves do either, you've averaged over 25k at this level three times in the last 37 years excluding this one. If you were tenth with these initiatives would you be pulling the numbers in?

When you weren't watching Coventry?

I'll go to Coventry if we've got a long away game I can't be arsed going to (Ipswich and Hull this season). Most of the time I can get a free ticket for them. Was offered a Brighton away ticket but I'm on holiday after next Saturday.

To be expected IMO, few clubs in the league wouldn't be seeing a massive upturn in attendees if they'd suddenly inherited the squad Wolves now have, playing the football they do. My team leader at work, a season ticket holder of some years tbf, has chosen to do every away game this year though it's purely coincidence and nothing to do with steam rollering the league at all :pond::pond::pond::lol:

How have we circumvented the system?

No we would not been selling out week in week out if we were 10th but as I said before due to great pricing and marketing initiatives we would have seen an increase regardless of where we came.

You have done, how else do you explain Caveleiro, Navas, Jota etc ..... you've used Mendes as a conduit.

Barnsley the most popular away day in the league. Expected nothing less.

Wolves are not selling out every week. Infact, more often than not they don't sell out at home, but I'm happy to be proven wrong. Sunderlands average, is much less too, but I suppose you can only go off the numbers that are being released by the club.

Aye like Watford .... numbers inside the ground aren't what are given out officially, read the other week that up to 3k absent at Vicarage Road, in 20k stadium in the PL
