Well Chelsea have something like forty players out on loan...Fifa looking to cap it to a max of six out on loan so may change things. I don’t see why the big Prem clubs have such an interest in huge academies anyway hardly any ever see first team action.
Manchester City for example, hardly any have come through as they just buy full squads... Foden is outstanding but even then is he suffering from a lack of first team action? Even if sent to the Bundesliga on loan it would be something.
United had glorious years with their kids but hardly any come though now, Chelsea the same, even Liverpool don’t much anymore.
Spurs and Everton have a few come through but how much talent is wasted in these clubs by never getting close and missing out on first team action. Should be set up so lower league clubs get most of the youngsters as we would be the places too young talent could break through and play men’s football.
As said above we’ve had a few loanees from Premier League teams and they’ve been meh.
