Ivanovic has to be one of the dirtiest players in the league and he gets away with it every week.

Wonder if there will be any talk of that campaign against Chelsea now?

Howard should save that.

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
Another ban coming up?

Bit of a lucky winner there.

We defended really well again, but Chelsea didn't give up and scored a fortunate goal at the end. We had three chances to score (two Lukaku and Mirallas should have played Coleman in instead of shooting) but we only have ourselves to blame. Don't think Barkley should have been subbed. Think Barry will get a 3 game ban, chance for McCarthy & Besic to play together...I say that but Barry will end up back in the team when available going off the Robles dropping

Thankfully we appear to have turned the corner from out awful Christmas and early January form. Leicester home next in the league, 3 points is a must.

Well that was shite, possible blessing in disguise Barry missing the next two games, he has been completely off the pace this season and didn't get anywhere near the Chelsea midfield tonight. Also thought lukaku should have buried that chance. 2 wins in 16 is fucking shite

Gutted to lose it so late especially with a deflected goal but we were on the back foot for most of the game. I think we can take plenty of positives from the game. The main one being the performance of John Stones and Gareth Barry being suspended. Surprised Martinez didn't start with two proper wingers rather than sticking Barkley out wide again.

He should do that against Leicester, but I don't think he will. Martinez won't drop Naismith at moment. I love Naismith but he's not that good and should be taken out of the team now and then so we can play with two proper wingers.

Mirallas has really gone off form since missing that west brom pen. He's become really selfish since the start of the year and was rightly dropped today, he's going to have a lot of work to don't win the fans back. He really should have put Coleman through tonight too. So frustrating to know we could have won that game tonight

Howard looked fine as well considering the stick he was getting pre-match.

You can tell he's played in Italy. Good signs but will need time to adapt to the pace of the game. He slowed our game down considerably.

It'll come hopefully. He's class for Columbia and they play at 100mph.

I think he means the fact you're still 7 points behind the champions.

Mourinho being a class A twat in the interview as usual. Ivanovic should get a ban, and Jose will claim the 'campaign' is in full swing again.

Pathetic from Mourinho. If his players stopped acting like c*** on the pitch the media wouldn't be talking about anything.

Nah, he's absolutely right on this one. The media are trying to manufacture a controversy out of nothing. It was a laughably trivial incident.

If people reckon that's a headbutt they live very sheltered lives.

If you want to ban Ivanovic then do so.....you'll have to ban Van Persie and Pearson too because they're both just as bad. Mourinho wants everyone against him...you all calling him a c***, and any other name under the sun, is exactly the sort of thing he wants. He wants people shouting for our players to be banned....It only makes his teams stronger...just look at his first spell at Chelsea and his spells in Spain and Italy.

I don't quite know what Everton are complaining about anyway....If the referee had any sense Barry would have picked his second booking long before the 90th minute.

I was disappointed to see it go in, obviously. But after a poor run of form I was much more bothered to see City actually getting back into the swing of things.

FA needs to drop ban hammer on Ivanovic. Waiting for Mourinho to show how to do choke hold during his press conference...

I suspect if Ivanovic were to be banned, Mourinho would turn up to his next presser in silence with an eye drawn on his hand.
